It is a must read for everyone, trust me it is not a boring monolog but a very absorbing read. In this  book Gandhi(ji)  comes out as more of a flesh and blood human struggling to evolve himself, Gandhi as a strategist, as a husband, father who is not infallible, has vices too.

Definitely a must read for everyone. If you have already read this book, then here is my little advice -

Most of the biographies written on Gandhi usually rely on his own writings to tell the story. However Ramachandra Guha has done a terrific job in his attempt to write Gandhi’s biography from sources and material other than Gandhi’s own writings. His part 1 “Gandhi Before India” of the two part Gandhi biography is an absolute masterpiece. Please read it and you will love and respect Gandhi even more.
