Are you sure it’s genuine? A genuine Xiaomi power bank’s TI chipset shouldn’t be worse than Ambrane’s no-name boost converter. 92% might be under optimal conditions, but 60% is just plain terrible!

Reviewers have tested it to be around 90% efficient.

Yup paid via credit card. Let me see. I am still in double mind of whether to stay with this giant power bank or go for lower one 10,400 mAh.

Keep an eye on the price after cashback. They’ve raised prices, I think it might be wiser to go for Xiaomi if there isn’t much difference in price. I got my P-1000 for Rs. 675 after 50% cashback coz the price was Rs. 1349 a month ago.

You are right. They have jacked the price of p-1000 to Rs. 15XX and that is why effective price is coming to around 940 Rs after cash back.

Flipkart ones should be original only. Not sure why you are getting so low efficiency.

received a DOA product from the seller shree balaji computers which is none other than ambrane itself. i feel i am extremely unlucky when it comes to power bank.

I thought it was too big and I don’t really need the 20K one. So ordered 10400 mAh one and also received today.

I cancelled it within 3-4 Hours of placing the order, so yes well before delivery. I then ordered the ambrane 10,400 mAh one later and then i was not able to cancel after it was shipped.
