Zen 6 seems a good competitor and alternative to t2 ultra.

I think t2 ultra has only one GB ram.

And, I have become a fan of Intel processor specially with 2 GB ram.

My Dell venue 7 also has Intel plus 2 GB ram.

And I am very much satisfied with this tablet.

BTW, are their any other phone with screen sizes ranging between 6" and 6.3" which cost like this zen 6.

Samsung mega price will now surely take a fall.

Hp tablet 6 VoiceTab is also good but this too has only one GB ram.

I hope these phones become a success internationally also, so that we will have good developer support.

This is a fantastic deal and Intel processors perform really well.
I have Asus tab with dual core Intel processor on android and it works simply great.
No lag whatsoever.

Dammit I already got Huawei Honor C(which is by the way stunning) for my dad would’ve opted for this one if it was available earlier considering the price and my dad’s requirement which is just dual sim.

intel atom z2560 in Cpu is much better than both Snapdragon 400 and Mediatek octa ( real world performance )

in gpu it is better than snapdragon 400 but less powerful than Mediatek octa

needless to say

mediatek octa > intel z2560 > snapdragon 400 > mediatek 6582

coming from a bigger brand this phone is easily the best phone under 10k.. and will be the most successful out of 3

I ordered Moto E & it was shipped. But as I got the news of Zenfone 5 I cancelled my order to buy Asus Zenfone 5.

Is it a good choice to buy Zenfone 5 over Moto E??

Hyperthreading in Intel processor makes is quad-core.

You may just deem a dual core Intel processor with Hyperthreading as a quad core processor.

One thing to consider here is update to newer version of Android. Moto phones have plain vanilla Android experience and hence there update will be much quicker.
Where as Zenfone has customization and we may see few limited updates in future that too with delay.

i just bought asus zenfone 4 ,i do face same problem ,the battery can only last less then 6hr on standby mode. i asked the shop people with whom i bought it ,they said normal ,but talk time mention in spec more 10hrs. this people ,both manufacture and agent playing fool with customer pls do not buy asus,bullsheet.is there any way return it and asked for refund or any with any similar price .?not happy at all ,given extra battery ,no point also,drain so fast.manufacture pls stop selling your product if not meet the spec,and pls recall it from damaging your brand. thanks you from gurmit singh ,penang malaysia

I have been using this phone for 1 month. Everything is going fine except 2 big problems which are:
1, The microphone doesn’t have noise cancellation function. It’s so sensitive that your friends can hear the sound 50 metres away from you when they’re talking with you.
2, The battery itself really is a minus that’s why Asus gives you 2 removable batteries in box. But I have to use 1 more portable charger for the convenience.

The problem comes with the keys themselves. The back and multitasking buttons are spaced too far apart from the Home key and are a bit harder to access. Intel dual core processors (quad core with hyperthreading) are great at real world performance. I’ve seen performance of the Single core with multithreading (two logical cores) in Xolo X910 feel much better at real world performance compared to mediatek quad cores.

Where they lacked before is in GPU which was PowerVR SGX400MP which was old and weak. But hey! these ASUS mobiles have PowerVR SGX544MP2 which is powerful.

Thumbs up from my side. Great price for these features and brand.:-}

The product specs are awesome. I would really suggest this a good option to buy. But the product is highly priced because flipkart has imported this product at 11834 rs and they are selling it at 16999 Thats a lot higher if compared to price at china then launch this phone with higher configuration and sell at low price i.e. $199..
Therefore i would suggest people to wait for price drop.
