@avinkumar @anshu Check your cards exactly after three days of activation request. Axis doesn’t send SMS alerts these days.

On what basis is the infi card inactive? If you are thinking its inactive because you didn’t receive the SMS about money loaded in your card then try registering the card for VBV.
I had the same experience. Since I didn’t receive the SMS for infi cards I had assumed that the cards were inactive but then I spoke to GCi, the seller on infi and I was told that infi cards are sent pre-activated. I then registered for VBV and was successful.

I am talking about the Infi cards.
As for PayTM cards, I had the same experience and the problem was that even though the cards were activated y’day afternoon(as verified by Axis telebanking CC), VBV registration was not working and as per GCi, it was a glitch that Axis bank was working on. I was then able to register for VBV in the night, though no SMS received even after VBV registration.

In that case, you should take some effort in finding an Axis ATM to check it. This is the safest way not to get your blocked, I guess.

Got GC from CGI (paytm) Then i dropped a mail to axis care they said its an invalid card

All the info that you give here sounds strange. I’ve never heard of Axis cards from Paytm-GCI arriving pre-activated. I myself had to place a request for activation. You better call them on Monday and explain this. Let’s see what they do.

Axis cards get blocked after 3 consecutive failed VBV or login attempts. I have repeatedly asked people to not waste their time by contacting Axis email/phone support. You bought the card from the seller GCI on Paytm and they gave you a paper card with all of their contact information and instructions to get the card activated. Why didn’t you simply do that?!
Anyway, email GCI at cs[at]giftcardsindia.in with your card number, Paytm order id, and a mobile number. They will take care of it in 3-4 days. Apart from asking them to activate the card, do remember to tell them that you have managed to get the card blocked because of your impetuous and careless nature.
