but, status is not showing as “processing”…if they are processing it, then they should change it from “paid” to “processing”. this will solve our dilemma.

samsung do not provide any warranty for microsd, there is no doubt that its of good quality, but if your card fails some day than just have 2 throw it off no other option…

clearly mentioned 5 yrs limited warranty…maybe you received the reply from the ceo on 1st april

i too called to local samsung service center they said there is no service for Samsung Memory card . So I declined to take samsung card.
Please Check in Your Area and Report if service center for MicroSd card is availabel…!

I purchased Samsung Class 6 16GB for 428rs along with card reader in indiatimes which came with invoice from TK Marketing Seller

you purchase it and if its not working than hunt for service center and than you will find that indeed it is april fool all the time..

I am not against any 1, i just wanted to warn the dimers about this problem, if somebody wants to be arrogant without checking it by themselves than let it be…

I bought it from HS18 in Feb.. it was problematic out of the box… worse part i bought 2 16gb cards n both had the same issue…

wen to 3 service centers they didnt even had a clue tht Samsung made n sold memory cards…

One of them stupidly asked if it was chinese!! Other asked if i got it for free with the phone… Another went an step ahead n said Palika se liya kya?

I got pissed n when i showed them the receipt again they said itna sasta mila to nakli hi hoga…

One of them tried to be very cunning n said they can check if it can be exchanged with a 2gb card!!

One idiot said electronics bought online are not serviced by the company so i should talk to the website… :-/

Those shitheads tried to make fun of me …. So finally i revealed that i work for Microsoft and will shoot an official mail asking for clarification regarding the warranty and the cluelessness of their service center folks n their rude n unprofessional behavior… On listening this the Service center owner appeared out of nowhere n said he was sorry n he took my contact details n said he will check with samsung n inform me accordingly… Of course he never called…

I got similar response from all 3 service centers…

So i wrote a mail explaining the same to HS18 n even though it was more than 45 days since i bought the cards they were courteous enough to arrange a pickup n sent me a new replacement… A lady also called me to check i had received the replacement or not…

New cards are working flawlessly… but my recent purchase as a SanDisk instead of Samsung even though i had to shell out a li’l extra for the same class… So if u wanna buy it .. there is no issue with that but just in case it develops a fault be ready to fight a long battle for replacement…
