My World Cup – 2015 Contest

How to participate
All you have to do is, share your 11 members team in this thread and earn points.
- You Can Select – 5 Batsmans, 5 Bowlers & 1 Wicketkeeper (For the First 42 Matches)
- Every run scored by the batsman, bowler or wicketkeeper – 1 point
- Every wicket taken by batsman or bowler – 20 points
- Every stumping, catch taken by wicketkeeper – 20 points
- For every day matches – You can predict below 2 question and it will fetch you 20 points per correct answer.
If bowler in your team does not ball minimum 25 overs through out the tournament then his name will not be considered for final points calculation.
All team entries must be submitted by 13th February 12:00 A.M
Once you share your team, you cannot change it till match number 42. Only corrections will be allowed (if any).

Daily prediction must come in 1 hour before the start of each match.

And we have a cracking final ahead . Rightfully , two of the best teams so far have reached the final .
■ The best match for me was the Aus vs Nz in the group stage . Other than Nz vs Sa in the quarter , no other match was really fascinating .
■ The Indian takeover of the Australian grounds was just awesome to see . Especially the India vs Pakistan match .
■ There were plenty of good individual batting performances ( Thanks to the stupid fielding restrictions ) .But no great nail-biting matches or team performances .
■ Kudos to the bowlers who have made this World Cup interesting . Especially the left arm bowlers .
→ Starc , Boult , Southee , Johnson , etc .
■ The big surprise for me was the Indian pace attack . Really impressive . I didn’t think that they would have bowled this well .
■ Tahir and Vettori – the notable spinners . Tahir picked up wkts while Vettori did well for Nz ( notably in the Aus vs Nz group clash ) .
■ South Africa pace attack really disappointed . Steyn never got going . Apart from Kyke Abott , no one was impressive .
■ England’s idiotic team changes at the beginning of the WC . Broad was the big disappointment .
■ Ireland’s impressive performance in this WC . I really think that they deserved the quarter place and not West Indies .
■ One of the best aggressive spells I have seen in my life – Wahab Riaz spell vs Shane Watson . Awesome !
■ McCullum’s impressive captaincy and the great starts he gave was key to Nz success .
■ Martin Guptil’s proper knock , Gayle storm . De Villiers special , Dhawan shuts the critics and many more good knocks .
■ Eliott special to take Nz to the final .
Missed to mention this –
■ Shapoor Zadran – impressive . Shaiman Anwar – lone warrior . Josh Davey was also impressive .
