Guys only get the number of keys which you want instead of collecting keys as these offers don’t come easily so that other users can get the keys too.

By the way the last date for activation of the key is 12 October 2014.

You can enter the key directly into android. The key is mainly meant for PC. You can configure android in another way as given on their website.

While it’s great to have all these so called “privacy protecting” VPNs give out premium subscriptions for free, I cannot help but suspect an ulterior motive behind it. Especially in the case of CyberGhost, the company seems to be operating from USA, which is also home to argubaly the biggest spying agencies in the world; the NSA.

It wouldn’t be unreasonable to suspect that CyberGhost was given hefty sums of money in return for backdoors to facilitate spying on their users. People who use CyberGhost may be tricked into thinking their anonymous but they might actually be a victim of an even better, systematic spying.

Given the current circumstances (NSA spying scandal et al), you have to take all this with a pinch of salt. I believe CyberGhost VPNs do log user activities and the logs can be used to track users. So avoid using it for doing extremely sensitive stuff that is perhaps illegal/immoral (according the society, nevertheless).

A little bit of research or googling might have helped you out there. Cyberghost is Romanian in origin with a major presence in Germany. As per their website and other reviews including cnet and etc, they don’t keep logs either with a 24 hour purge of stats accumulated. If you think about it logically, what information do they have, your email address? Yes, I’ll admit there are better vpn solutions, especially one that integrates directly with your router, but are you willing to pay $6 a month?

Pardon me if I seem a bit hostile but it really irritates me when people mouth off with no information or knowledge regarding what they’re talking about.

Backdoor in a VPN – do you understand how a VPN works?
They log user activity – what makes you think that?

I got activation key mailed to my email address. Downloaded Cyberghost5 and installed it. However in Login page it is asking for Username and Password without any formal initial setup.
Then what is my Username? The email address where password was send?
Also what is the Password? The activation key?
