First Impression:
Nothing catchy…

Similar to old design. Not much improved

Feels too cluttered and inconsistent. In the current design you can see that every deal box has a similar UI which is pleasing to the eye but the new design posted has too much happening, too much of data being dumped on the user at once.

1. Various color tags – exclusive, FPD, price drop. Adding too many colours makes it difficult to grasp and messy.
2. Ads, leaderboard, channel boxes messing up with consistency of the boxes. Any possibility of grouping them up rather than mixing them up with deals and make the UI more consistent?
3. The boxes for coupon codes have a different UI making it more inconsistent. I can it can be more consistent with deal boxes.
4. The boxes for Price drop are having a UI quite different from other boxes too, again loosing out on consistency.

Please add brand specific alerts, e.g. as some body wants each and every alert/post for BMS/ola money/oyo/freecharge/Az egv………. etc so instant alert/notification about that perticular brand/product

I really liked it! Desidime is feature and content rich but really lacks in aesthetics. This move is in the right direction.

i would have been more happy if you guys updated iOS app of yours. (24th Feb 2014, Don’t you feel you made it while ago)

But i have concluded this community is more about FPD & making money, fair enough.

Only 1 issue in new interface-
When we click on below given image at bottom of page then it redirects to this thread rather then playstore or apple app store.
Hope you will fix the linking of image.A big thanks once again for such a great interface and working hard each day to fulfill our needs

Now a days Push Notifications on Chrome Browser are popular,
Plz Create and allow push Notifications for NEW FPD’s
so that a pop up appears on desktop !!

notification colour with blue background and white number, not that visible unless you specially look..
blue and white not that great, maybe more darker blue background?? matching colors will do

Dimers name next to notification on right top corner must be case sensitive

eg: It must be mahidada not MAHIDADA

(With case change u can avail different ID of same name, to avoid it, it must be case sensitive)

I am accessing the website on my iPad Pro and here is one issue I have been facing.

There is a floating round baba logo on the right bottom corner of the screen, when I tap on that the page scrolls up and shows the “DEAL BABA CORNER” deals while the whole page is greyed out. From there I am not able to access the page once again, tried tapping on the page and tried taping on the “DEAL BABA CORNER” text too but nothing happens. The only way I am able to access the page again is if I refresh it.

The new design on website is very frustrating. when you search (or even in normal case), the drop down menus open automtically for top tabs when you take mouse even below them. which makes it harder to access second tabs below them

Unable to edit my previous comment somehow so posting it here.

I am using Safari browser on iOS 9.2.1 in case it helps.

One more issue.

The top menu does not work for me. Again using iPad Pro running iOS 9.2.1 and using Safari browser.

The only way to navigate forums is by using the breadcrumb links provided.

Yup, the whole menu is dysfunctional, neither direct click on top level buttons works nor the pop down menu appears.

i do not use an iPad for iPhone when am awake (and what happens in ma dreams, remains in ma dreams).

do not exactly know if these pop-up are the adamant types which places like pinterest are infamous for.
but you may try to (blind) navigate to the top-right corner and imagine there is a close button and tap on it.

i say this because i sometimes face such (how to/where to close it from) issues on sites, because i try to surf with images disabled and flash player/add-on off/crashed (them doubleclick.net google ads :arrrrgh: )

so i sometimes do not even see the placement of the [X] cross button/icon is placed. it was really a learning curve for me to get the hang of new chat pop-ups too → close_button_maybe_an_icon.png

see if any of this works. otherwise it is just a case of Deal Baba’s ego being hurt at actually getting relegated to a corner. [He’s out to take solace in the fact that dimers can shun him that easy]

as per my decades old habit of not clicking on pop-ups, i instinctively had copied the hyper-link and tried to open it in a new tab.
sadly that is not how it can be seen. even now, trying to open a http://www.desidime.com/note_announcements?anno... or for that matter, the single notice → desidime.com/note_announcements?announcement_ids=620 only gets us to the customary error 404 page (frame/ embedded within the main template)

when admin made this topic, i was on a 4-5 days leave without pay,
thereafter, it was like; he requested/sternly said in OP to keep things on-topic or relevant to the said new interface (work in progress) new-look only.

now almost every keep determining details is fixed.

can only make this generic (unsubstantiated) observation
that this again looks like a ‘we got the code/templates from X and tweaked it a little for DD customisations’ job

i have definitive reasons to think it is a hurried or piecemeal job with some parts being done by some person or group of persons
and other parts by other teams. there are some glaring lapses that i’d rather not say now (in open topic).

it’d really help if the border and a thick one at that is brought back ON
on the search box that is the generic forum search box below the mast-head and just above the categories menu panel.

i don’t want to name the site which this code/ search box reminds me off
the near-sighted (short sighted) decision to use white on white colour scheme is not too friendly for people with sub-par eyesight (who also like to keep the display dim) or for short tempered people

on the web/ desktop site i think even the ability to customise the query has gone, right ? [search only within → Forums, Deals, Coupons, Price Comparison, Stores ←← or are those drop-down parameters there but i fail to see them]. #LegallyBlindThen
