hi all
i know this is alo not acorrect forum to post this
buut i want everyone to know this so request moderators to keep this in this forum so that everyone know about unauthorised behaviour and security concerns of putting debit card no on freecharge account
i have done soon transcation on freecharge with my debit card with freecharge offers
now suddenly when i open my netbanking account today i found 5 unauthorised transaction today in name of accelyst freecharge payu which is nothing but freecharge account
so i request other to not put ur debit card on freecharge account it is very much insecure
also requset admin,modertaors and senior guys to suuport me so that i get my refund,freecharge nake its site secure and would help others dimers to preventfrom this type of frauds
by the way i am not going to take this lightly and will ask suitable compensation from them as i think this must be work of some of their employee

just check any of your friends or relatives might have done transaction from your account by knowing your password.
How come freecharge will deduct money through payU? is it? i dont think so.

PS: i never used DC in freecharge.
i really dont know but somehow they have done thas why i have lodged complaint on sbi too

Nothing against OP.
All e-commerce sites does store your card details along with CVV in encrypted format.They are not supposed to do this but still they save them to save their company from legal issues.All the companies must reply to cybercell if any request comes from them.

Not sure in app.I think app saves cards info only if you have used your card on desktop site earlier.
Login to desktop site.Do a recharge.Proceed till payment page.There uncheck pay by credits option.Now you can see card details & a delete option beside that.Click it

so something is very much less secure in freecharge
If you feel debit card number is a big issue , then declare it as lost and get a new card from bank.
Simple and no more panic or sleepless nights.
I think this is possible, as internationl site dont need any password to validate your transaction, but I think you should have receive a message about the spending on your card as soon as it is debited, immediately you could block the transaction by calling the customer care. Now another sacry news about fraud on e-transaction. I hope they dont do like this to all the cards they use.

I was also charged for the same amount 4 times n 21/11/2014. This is a concern since the other actual charges made on the card has the name as FREECHARGE PU GURGAON IN.

yeah in my case i have lost only 160 till now
but what if somehow they take huge amounts from someone
if they are professional company they serioulsy need to answer this
those who have been using sbi virtual card on FreeCharge and mobikwik.. they got deducted today by 100 to 5000 rupees.
its a shame how this can happen in sbi without otp…
my acc deducted with 100 as mobikwik transaction which I never did.

raise a complaint to Freecharge they will reply ASAP.
did you add money to free charge wallet by any chance ??
can you please check freecharge credits balance ?
Banks will never take the money like that unless there is a action intiated from the merchant end.
Could be freecharge accidentally debiting twice or something buggy.
1. Check whether transactions are listed in freecharge site and also in bank end – if yes then its a issue in the freecharge end.
2. if transactions are present in bank end but not in freecharge end , then it’s a issue with bank.
Again my understanding without any initiator , bank will never take funds else they lose reputation.

I have received 3 sms from SBI (I have account in SBI) regarding failure of transaction of Rs. 10 with transaction id. Instantly I logged in to my SBI account and checked the failed transaction and two transaction are from Freecharge and one transaction from Accelyst(As in the case of OP). Then instantly I changed the password of my debit card and net banking. But still at 4AM I received fourth msg from SBI for failure of trnsaction of Rs. 100/-.
I still don’t know whether the transactions were done through my debit card details or using net banking details. No one have access to the details of my card and net banking.
I have not received any OTP then I think they didn’t used my net banking details and if they were trying to use my debit card details then if they enter wrong password 3 times my card would be blocked but I never receive any failure message.
Something must be wrong with freecharge. Better use VCC for future transaction on freecharge.

It has 3 differnt id’s.All transactions are done using same debit card only.

As per RBI rules, 3D secured password is must for every online transaction, without the password, it is simply not possible.
It is definitely done by you or done by someone, who knows your debit card details
You can register a complaint to both your bank and freecharge
Please post here the outcome of the complaint or reply from your bank and freecharge
You will get msg when the amount is deduced from your account
After all the app takes you to website where the transaction is processed for this you have to enter 3d secure password every time
Check account history and get phone Numbers and call the numbers
Or else change your 3d secure password asap
Check ur passbook check the entries of previous transactions and these transactions
Mainly Chang ur 3d secure password ASAP

Then we must definitely change internet banking login/transaction passwords along with 3D secure passwords
OMFG :Shock: even my 2 friends accounts got H#cked today, they said they used only for freecharge(fc referal trick) but they also said transaction worth 4k * 2 were done on amazon and mobikwik how is that possible
NO Need to worry guys, these are the transactions when you created a VCC from SBI and used it at various merchants(including freecharge).
They had lien the amount, and now they have bulk cleared the VCC, hence the deductions are made.
These all transactions are your past transactions
