Now where can you get 10 such packs(30condoms) for Rs.66, I’d like to know. I guess u thought 10pack means 10 condoms..that way, yes, the price should be Rs.66..but not for a 10pack where each pack has 3 condoms. Go and check anywhere on the net or at offline shops..the prices are not at all inflated. The 50% off makes it the cheapest available anywhere..this I can guarantee as I have already done my research.

Actually your calculation is wrong as they have clearly mentioned the quantity in the pack. Don’t expect a windfall of condoms. They have already taken poor dimers for a ride with this fake offer. Please check link of package – it clearly mentions numbers and not the packs, as you are referring to. Do, you mean you will get 30 condoms for Rs. 66, means about Rs. 2 per condom – that too Durex. when per unit cost is about Rs. 6 or more.

i will tell you guys what has happened!
the durex condom prices for 3 pcs pack is Rs 40
and for some one or two variety (ie superthin etc) it is Rs 50 for 3 pcs
this is the actual price ie MRP of the product.
now a few months ago FDA food and drug administration of india and the price regulatory committee decided to slash (ie regulate) prices of medicines condoms and daily use EXTERNAL USE OTC PRODUCTS.
the medicine prices were reduced all the stock that chemists had was taken back and rolled again in the market with a new print or sticker of reduced MRP.
some of you might have noticed this if you regularly buy medicines.
after successfully reducing mrps of drugs they started targeting condom manufactures and OTC products manufacturers,by OTC products i mean, glycerine, calamine in any form, eucalyptus oil, clove oil etc etc
the regulatory committee decided to price condoms at MAXIMUM RETAIL PRICE of 20 Rs for a 3 Pcs Pack and MRP 66 for a 10 Pcs Pack, so the condoms which had already gone through the manufacturing and were already packed and printed cannot be reprocessed and repacked with a new mrp (it would increase company’s cost), what company did is supplied stickers for the same to the distributors, it was distributors job to sticker each and every product with the new mrp, but the distributor cant do that it would require labour and time which would increase his operating cost (distributors work on very low margins), but the distributors cannot charge as per the provious MRP ie 120 Rs cos his billing system is online, the manufacturing company knows at what price hes selling products, so he started supplying durex condoms at new rate(ie Rs66 – retailers margin) but there was no sticker of new MRP on the product, so the retailers are still selling them at 120Rs for 10 Pcs and 40 Rs for 3 Pcs and earning huge profits, condompoint played smart and announced 50% discount for the product which he is bound to sell at new mrp which is 20 for a 3pc pack and 66 for a 10 pc pack, condom point is trying to increase his business volume maybe not by unfair means but keeping its consumers on the darker side not sharing and applying the new revised mrp instead giving 50% discount….but then its okay…its business condompoint is getting which ever way, it is getting popular by promoting a fake deal!

the new mrp is due for this month to reach the market, maybe healthkart comes under modern trade norms, and buys directly from Reckitt Benckiser (owner of durex brand) thats why he has got the new mrp printed condoms in his inventory!
