VnS…But the kit doesn’t come with testing strips…..Also according to some reviews ,the accuracy of this meter is not that great comparing to accu chek …We own accu chek active model and the error is just +/- 1 (Couple of times compared it with lab tests)

Accu check is market leader. Their strips available at most drugstores these days. If you get a deal on Accuckheck online/offline then grab it. Omron is also good brand & they have high reputation worldwide.
Dr.Morepen / Tyson Bio etc glucometers are available at large discount but may not be worth. These co’s wont provide calibration kit & accuracy is doubtful. Once you buy, you have to stick with the meter as the strips are not interchangeable & their costs are high.
Remember, all strips have expiry dates & their qualities deteriorate with exposure to air.

Agreed…even My dad is using them from long…they are pretty much OK

Normally no maker provides a calibration/accuracy verifying sample as standard.

Even though they have mentioned the offer on product page – status of the product is ‘Sold Out’ from morning.

Here, it is simply a gimmick as the discount you will get, if lucky is mere 28/- bucks and for that, we sane minded folks should not get lured and fall in trap for a machine having bad reviews. If it was @ atleast 50% discount, it could have been a worthy deal. Exercise caution friends. My 2 cents. Good Luck ! : )
