Better to go with 200s for 5990 for much heavier duty printing

I am using this printer since over a year. If anyone has any question feel free to ask.

How is the printer performance. In market it is said its parts are unavailable so repair is not possible.roughly how many prints it give once full refilled. In reviews there lot complain abt paper jam but some light as you are using this from one year.

I didn’t need any repairs thus far so cannot comment. Also support is city specific. I have consumed the toner ink which was shipped in the printer which lasted me around 3-400 prints. After that I have refilled it once myself and it is still going strong after 300 odd prints.

Yes new toner is too exorbitant, however, I feel at the price which I got it for and given that I am primarily using it for odd prints here and there, it is great value. I plan to refill it a couple of times after which I will replace the printer instead of toner as it would have outlived it utility by then. I can safely say that it much much better compared to MFP inkjets.

In case you are looking it for heavy duty printing avoid it as there are paper jam issues sometimes especially if you give print for lots of pages together.

For occasional prints it is quite ok.
