Had posted drafted some Hyderabad relevant local listings (physical shops) in reply to this in afternoon but just got login issues or something here are desidime.
as fate has it.. I am still around but sapped of most energy; so can only think up some on-line options now 
although I have always found an established shop more approachable in these matters; rather than a faceless entity.. because customisations, look and feel (touchy feely) can be done

vistaprint are running a promo wherein a both side printed (and hopefully customisation/ logo is allowed)
lots cost about 100/125 paise per card for bulk [500 – 1000].
- 500 cards: both sides printed on 350GSM quality goes up to Rs. 640
- 1000 cards: is for about Rs.1015 if matte or glossy normal paper
unfortunately they do not have better options like recycled or eco friendly paper (i have seen cards/ greeting cards made from recycled/ processed elephant dung.. though costly that thing is good)
- one sided printing during vistaP promotion is even cheaper: 500 cards at Rs.375 and 1000 cards at Rs.700

500 cards at 375rs only if back side is blank.
they do take small orders and like mentioned in thread above.. kill one with logistics.
thats why I mentioned local shops get more real.. but they too for 100 quantity charge over 100-125ps a piece on a better paper
