Not necessary…because my paytm mail id n uber mail id is different…and mobile number too!

First update the uber app.
Then log in and go to payments, add paytm wallet. OTp will be sent to your email and mobile for confirming the paytm wallet and once added go to payments option again. Click on your credit card, edit it and delete it. Now when you book the cab it will automatically use paytm wallet.

Just availed this service. Total fare was 268 and i was charged Zero!:-D

Two queries

1) how much money do I need to have on my paytm wallet?
2) I had a promocode which gives me a free ride upto rs.400, I applied it and it got applied successful showing a pop that free rs.400 on your first ride till 31st dec.But that 400 bucks, cant be seen anywhere in the app.how to check that this rs.400 is present in my
uber account and also how to use it when I book a cab?

I am new to Uber, so kindly help

will it work on late night?

No I dont see 400 under payments. I dont have my CC linked to UBER, only hv my paytm wallet linked

Ok just now finished my two rides it was simple n easy so

1) min should be 100 in ur paytm wallet
2)dont worry about promo codes until 30 nov as 5 rides are free but if u still want to know ur applied promo code login into ur account in uber website.

Enjoy the free ride guys

Hey, I dont see any paytm specific promo code applied in my account although I have added paytm account.

Also, my friend who has used my referral code didnt get his first trip free even though both of us got mails from Uber stating the free rides. And there is no way to contact them just like PayTM!!!

is it applicable only at Noon or even late night? Did the driver know that the amount is prepaid or something?

is it valid only between noon and 6pm or from wednesday noon to 6pm sunday(30th)???

1. I Have a promo of free ride of Rs 400 but I am not able to see it:
—> Login using desktop Site and find the offer under payment tab.

2. How do we use paytm wallet as payment mode if I have credits in my wallet?
—> Just before requesting taxi for final confirmation, you have an option where you can select the payment mode. So, just turn off the credits option to use the paytm offer ride.

3. Has anyone used it till now?
—>Yes, I did and worked fine. I was made to pay only Rs 40 for the total bill amount of Rs 340

You need to have at least one payment mechanism.
