Groupon paytm 550 on payment of 500 available again.

is it like 110% cash back …?we buy for 500 at group on and get 550 cash back at paytm?
please clarify ….

what’s the use of 500 voucher

They will only refund as Groupon credit if they can’t process a 550 Rs. cashback.

Yes. But we did pay through paytm right. So again no cause for them to hold my money in groupon instead of paytm. Also, in my previous cancelled transactions they always offerred me choice of refund via original payment method or groupon credits. I always got groupon credits anyways as I end up using these credits within a few weeks with restaurant deals.

Personally I’m now going to treat this transaction as experiment. They said 3 working days so I’ll wait till tuesday just to see if they add or refund money in paytm or not as promised. I am fairly confident I can easily get the cb or the refund (whatever paytm decides to do, I won’t contest as long as I atleast get 400 back in wallet) within an hour or two by pinging them on twitter. They’ve been extremely responsive there.

But just want to see what they do. Will atleast help set precedent to how much I should trust paytm and groupon.

all those who have not got the cashback, maybe it is because paytm is doing changes in the wallet features. Its not only for groupon deal many have not got for other purchases too.

and also we can always pinch paytm on twitter and facebook…they have honoured the deal everytime so I think it is the time that we keep a little patience

i think it’s like pay 5 get 10 offer.

Paytm will detect that if 500 rupees is deducted from groupon side, then it will give 550 in paytm wallet.

But if we apply coupon, 500 rupees is reduced to 400. I think we will not get cashback if we do some change in the amount which is decided to be deducted from paytm wallet.

I enquired from the groupon CC that we have to pay the full amount to get the cashback. No promotional code can be used on this deal. I knew that i was right,

I guess that is why CB will not be done.
But if anyone has not got CB I guess they can get a refund from Groupon or Paytm.

Although now PAYTM does not care like before. I got automatically recharged for 3G pack. It is supposed to send a reminder before automatic recharging but it did not. My 3g had got over before 28 days and I recharged it before.
I contacted CC on email and they just refused to give even cashback.
I posted on twitter and no use.
I guess paytm has become huge and they have lot of customers so they won’t care

They are using our money and investing it in stock market or giving out for interest I guess.
To recover the 550 Rupees cashback.
I put 1000 bucks in Mobikwik to get 100 rupees cashback and when I wanted to recharge tata docomo it failed
CC said that issue is there will get cleared in an hour. But could not do it for 2 days. But it worked when I used it as payment through CC avenue on Godaddy.com
I guess there they get paid 5% to 7% so they allow it.

The paytm cc is still dumb . Its Groupon not any last night popup store !! They have built a repute in the market and let’s not forget they have honoured ddeals like 500 Groupon credits for rs 100 if not immediately but a day or 2 late . My advice is rather than contacting paytm contact groupon and my experience with their cc on the 500 on 100 offer was more than satisfactory .I think among the best ccs I have ever spoken with. And people below ur post mentioning groupon using ur money to invest in stock market its just utter crap .Why would an MNC that too such a reputed company invest in Stock Market .They have plenty of funds and nothing they would get blocking a few lakhs. One of my friends was trying to sell an imitation jewellery with them and their process and the way they negoitaiate with the seller ensures that the deal u get is generally the lowest in the market .This example is just to highlight how strict it is with maintaining its policies and not like any flight by the night stores. Hope my explanation helps and people keep calm
