So I’ll explain why this is not a good deal

1. The processor i7 – There are many i7s out there, having HUGE differences in performance. This laptop has an i7 but it is only 2 CORES. When you are spending this much money on a laptop, you need to have 4 CORES, otherwise it is a waste of money
2. The GPU (or simply graphics card) in this laptop is the Nvidia 940M. Again, if you are spending this much, you need to have a better GPU. At this price range, you can easily get 950M or 850M, which are much better 950M
3. The alternative I suggested has 4gb ram. Now you could say that this laptop has 8gb ram which is better BUT RAM is CHEAP. You can easily add another 4gb for Rs. 1200.

Also, I dnt think I will be able to see or use anything with just DOS on board..

Lets say the cost comes to 67k. The laptop is still worth it

In my opinion, perhaps this deal may be good in price terms, with comparisons and the sort, however for a laptop costing between 65-70K, its CPU and GPU are mediocre at best The GPU – 940M – is barely better than mid range mobile graphics released 3-4 years ago, and the CPU – 6500U – is quite low in power, even though it is a 6th gen. core i7, again beaten significantly by processors released quite some time ago, even 2nd and 3rd gen. i5s and i7s, and not very powerful ones at that.

It’s just my opinion, but perhaps exercise caution with this deal, especially when 70K is at stake.

Ah right, I see above you are contending the same. Well, I agree with your opinion. I think a person can get a better laptop, at a better price, even without using coupons or deals out there. This one is a no-no in my book, unless someone explicitly wants this notebook model for unknown reasons..
