When Banks started getting holidays for Raksha Bandhan? All banks were open on 18th. My father and brother both are in SBI and they went. Don’t know about special bank that has listed Raksha Bandhan as holiday.
Only 2nd and 4th Saturday are non-working. 1st 3rd and 5th(sometimes) are full working days

Why don’t you have an account in SBI when it provides zero balance savings account? That too with your father & brother working in SBI, you don’t have an account…..

They are right. Pockets CC has holiday on every Saturday as they work from 8AM-8 PM (Mon to Fri) but it doesn’t mean bank has holiday on every Sat. In past I received CB on Sat too. There is a difference between bank holiday and pockets holiday. Leave it. When CB arrives, everyone will know. Kyunki koi naa koi dimer hamesha apna acc. check karta rehta hai. Trans: Atleast one dimer always busy with checking acc. for cb.

You comment is more of childish nature. Is it obligatory that if my so and so relation is working in so and so dept, I should have an acc. there? Zero balance is for those who can’t maintain account. SBI zero bal account is deprived of so many facilities which most may not be aware of. I have one rule that says, if you can’t even keep Rs. 1000 and look for zero balance account then you don’t need banking itself. What will you do with an empty account?
I have 4 savings acc. one each with ICICI, HDFC, Axis, PNB and I can maintain them without any problem so why should I go for SBI. I sent IMPS to my friend having SBI and 4 out of 10 times it fails due to server problem at SBI. When he sends me thru SBI freedom or SBI anywhere, same thing happen. So next-gen banking and satisfaction is not there. Also I know that their IMPS is 8-8 not 24 hrs like others. So what extra benefits you have. There is restriction on Internet Banking txn and Debit card txn after which they charge and condition is maintain 25000 or above and you can do unlimited txn.
Now only selected members got fpd.. & also only selected members suggest deals for fp then it becomes fpd..
