If I had to go by the review, this is what I see:

→ Kent service is extremely poor
→ The RO thing isn’t the best out there
→ You are charged for sand paper installation
→ Kent engineers are rude
→ You end up spending more money than saving in the long run due to constant problems

Of course, not everything is bad. So would love to know more from someone using it.

Price difference was too good to thought of buying it

They promote crap for money, as they don’t get to do movies like Salman, SRK.

Kidding. Hope we get a good water purifier (that is not only cheap but also reliable).

RO water purifier by design and function, will have consistent maintenence because wear out of pads and everything.

I had bought a commercial RO for Rs 50000 and ended up paying Rs 130000 on maintenance in 3 years

So in end, I replaced that one with regular purifier

doesnt have uv

Tempting, but will give it a pass.

I am also looking for a good purifier for my home, confused between Kent and Acqaguard.
Have Acqa demo arranged for coming week, will decide after that.

Any inputs/suggestions welcome.

I don’t know much about RO and UV.

Should a purifier have both? And what’s the maintenance cost? Would suck if we get at discount, then pay Rs. 10k yearly!

Membrane life is changed when TDS is high… Depend upon water quality..

I recommend taking AMC from other service providers (Private). They can arrange for parts since most of them are common. They can even get Original Kent filters. Their AMC is slightly cheaper..

if someone can make me understand which one I should buy.. I will really appreciate

afaik, only RO is enough and RO+UV is a marketing gimmick. RO filters the bacteria whereas UV kills them. Only UV is suitable for fresh river water. RO needed for underground water with high TDS. source: web

difference is can you show customer care for that product. snapdeal seems to be the only place with good reviews about it.

Also almost every RO system seems to not like online shopping except kent.
the product u linked says they dont service items bought online. Also there is no model on their site for 4k.
