Not anytime soon man. We asked the guy from Lenovo in the meetup but he said they have not planned for it yet in India.

It has a 2 year old SOC not worth buying. If only they remade it with Snapdragon 650/652 or higher.

.

Can you explain why? Snapdragon 802 is any day better than 615 both in terms of performance and battery life management. Don’t go blindly by the benchmark scores.

615 is a combination of large and small processors which is ideal for mid range phones but 801 is supposed to be better at handling larger tasks.

Yep its a big phone when compared to most of the 5.5’’ devices taller and heavier and most of the reviews suggest that its heavy but it isnt uncomfortable to hold

I would have loved it if it had been snapdragon 808… But the specifications are not bad for the price of 13499.

Instead of dumping old stock they should have launched zuk z2 pro directly.
Even if the chipset is of flagship grade but obsolete(almost 2 years old) and performance of SD 650/652 is on par if not better than SD801.
Better to wait for next iteration.
btw @raghupro why did you make two threads for same topic?

615 is a pretty bad Soc for mid rangers it overheats and is weak agreed but please note that I have explicitly written 650/652 . 652 is much better than those lame processors and comes in comparison to 808 though is a it weaker. Now compare 801 and 808 and you will realize the gap between them. Time has been hard on 801. Also not all benchmarks are useless. They tell you how comparable the soc’s are, the rest is left on optimization.

But the camera sensor and quality performance of the 8974 chipsets are so great, can someone post the pre release reviews of this mobile

Moto g4 launch on May 17th. Zen phone 3 on May 30.
We have some time to decide which one is better

Tried comparing both and I felt RN3 was better. Clicked few shots indoors with bright lighting.

It’s a large screen with larger bezels making the device larger and heavier than RN3.

Bro its not that he is comparing an SD616, he is comparing SD650 and SD652. Only SDs 820 is powerful than these today in terms of SD overall processor lineup…
