I would rather get a mobile from a more stable and reputed brand like Motorola than to go bonkers over not having a half baked fingerprint sensor.
It has been reported in all major outlets that the same is the the price.
I appreciate the sentiment but for anyone who has ever used such a feature… The convenience is just awesome and becomes essential.

Not sure what should I say to this comment, as I preordered iPhone 6S Plus for 82k. Though I wanted to order 128GB model which is going to be 92k as my current iPhone 6 plus is fully packed but it’s not available in the first stock release in India.
For a 26k phone, Snapdragon 808, Motorola build quality, 5.7" gorgeous display, less delay in updates it’s superb value for money compared to all Xiaomi and their fellow friend’s (Micromax, Lava, Shava, Pava, Guava) crap. I’m getting one myself on first day. I still have Moto G 1st gen which is about to get 2 years old and still no sign of lagging or hanging. Top notch build quality my friend.

Don’t mention the price than, simple say that a 2015 Android phone without finger print is a no no for YOU.

Having used an iPhone 4S, iPhone 6 and OnePlus Two over past two years i do know how convenient fingerprint sensor can be and at the same time how annoying it can be if not implemented well. And yes, I am referring to the one on OnePlus Two to be specific.
Though the sensor is super fast it fails to work even if a thin layer of oil develops on top of the sensor after taking a few calls and phone picking up some oil from face. You have to keep repeatedly wiping the sensor to clean it up!
What’s more annoying is that the fingerprint sensor acts as a home button too which is not clickable unlike on an iPhone. So most times you keep struggling to go to home as the sensor doesn’t detect your touch well unless you clean it up! The only workaround for this is to enable to soft buttons and avoid the annoying issue.
So rather than having a half baked feature like this I would rely on a phone without a fingerprint sensor or at least have it implemented like on an iPhone or Galaxy S6 with a clickable button that would at least ensure going to home screen with ease.
26k too much money for no fingerprint sensor.
