One problem I faced is that they attempt all transactions via imps, though customer support says after imps they do try neft but my transactions fails if mmid is not generated for recipient

This are common issue with DBS bro, Though never added more than 3 or 4 payees, As i always delete and enter freshly,
And also some new branch(of any bank) doesn’t support IMPS, So we can’t even transfer money to such bank using DBS lack of NEFT
