Voted up and Suggested !!;-}
I heard somewhere OLA drivers can see the credit in customer accounts
and after seeing that they are not coming to pickup the customers
Olacabs says that this offer will start from tomorrow in their tweet replies.
Olacabs CC said it will work on transactions more than 300 till 5000.
I made my first transaction with Ola Money and added the money but the bonus offer didn’t reflect. Contacted Olacabs CC and their technical department said that it will be credited within 24 hours. So technically, the offer would start from tomorrow I guess.
Suggested. +3KG
Called CC they told offer start from tomorrow. Don’t recharge your wallet today. FYI.

Exactly, this happened to me twice
Guys think before you recharge your Ola Wallet. Drivers can see the amount you have in your Ola wallet and in Hyderabad the cab drivers are not accepting the ride when they see the ola wallet as there are not getting payed for the transactions done through the wallet

Yes and they have cultureless drivers in Chennai…Better you always go with fastrack/ntl in Chennai..
I hate all the greedier and third class drivers of OLA and the OLA management who is responsible for this..

What the hell do they gain by accepting cash instead of wallet??? Its the same amount that goes to them right.

Never faced any credit issue or misbehavior as of now had booked cab many times i am from chennai too.!
I don’t know if the drivers can see the ola money in one’s account. But in chennai the drivers are not happy when they see credit applied at the end of the ride. One driver even told that he would’ve cancelled if he had known that ola credit is going to be used for the ride. So, maybe they can’t see if we have credit or not. He was a typical chennai driver though (non polite, greedy etc..)

You’re correct. When i try to book a cab in Mumbai using, a lot of the drivers don’t turn up because I pay by Ola money as I have some cash left from the recent referral schemes.
Happnd to me yest
Driver askd to cancell ride as he didnt had any cash to fill diesel
Bill paid by credit are adjusted agains their dues to ola as commission..so its nothing as they are not paid..its just that cash business is less to them so they avoid credit
Initially, Ola use to pay these drivers after 10-15 days (in case of payment by passenger thru ola money)and if a driver cancels a booking, he has to pay a penalty. Hence drivers used to ask us to cancel the booking to avoid penalty and credit of 15 days to Ola. But now Ola transfers the money each evening, so many drivers don’t mind taking a booking where passenger has ola money balance. But the same is applicable only for old Ola drivers, new drivers still got paid after 10-15 days in case the passenger pay thru Ola money.

I once took a ride worth 600 and with credits and groupon coupon, the final amount was about 200.. The driver started arguing that how can it be so less.. He was a new fellow and i had to make him understand that he will get his money from the company
VU. Haven’t yet tried it though.
