there are so many pretty cheap hotels, but deals are not like the ones here (100% off)
chk airasiago malaysia website, even the 50RM ones are very good standard
maximum i have seen is 10-15 % coupons

Visa cost is around 4000.00 .
Hotels are cheap but depending on the location , if u take hotels far from the tourist attractions u can get better deals .
the best area to stay is around Bukit Bintang and Pekaling China town , Bukit being my favourite as it has many malls around ..LOW YAT plaza for electronics , Berjaya times square for all cheap clothes and Pavilion Mall for high end branded clothes .
Night clubs are around the Bukit Bintang area including Petronas tower .
what ever hotel you take , be sure its next to an MRT or u can say the metro line .. u can explore the entire KL city if u r next to an MRT .
Batu caves and Genting Islands are two places that u can visit easliy when in KL with public tranport .
try the cable car for geting islands and stay at the First world hotel for about Rs, 800.00 per night .
for hotel bookings try 50% off on goibibo and use 25% gocash ..tats the best possible deal currently .
My personal favourite hotel is Hotel Central PUDU , its worth the price that we get at goibibo .
Hope it helps ..thanks ..im waiting for my trip at sept end ..:-D

For Hotels you can check tunehotels.com or check hotels in the area of Pudu Jalan / China Town you can get a 2* hotel for around Rs. 2500 per couple some hotels include breakfast also.

Visa fee is 4k if you do it yourself or more if going through any agent, visited there March’15.
Edit : Exactly it is INR 3400/- (1000 Visa fee + 200 VLN charges, + 400 service charges) per person.
For more info visit http://www.vfsglobal.com/malaysia/india/wrf2_vi...
999 flight is oos.
Well,
You all seem to miss the point here.
The 4K VISA is worth it, as it gives you Multiple Entries with 1 year Validity. (with each stay of ~30 days)
KL is a great place to be, and I wanna travel again.
Can someone point me on how to search via Month View ? they seems to have taken down that UX option now.
It’s much easier to pick the lowest price than going through all the dates.
If you are planning to visit, Get a hotel room near Bukit Bintang – pretty happening place.
If you are a solo backpacker, there are good number of Dorms and Hostels around
Current Availability of 999 fare
GOI-KUL
3rd Nov 2015 -1 seat available
24th Nov 2015 -1 seat available
If anyone want can go ahead & book
how many days trip will be good enough for Malaysia??
malaysia itself is mostly a shopping destination , specially electronics , clothes , accessories ..rest there are nightclubs , street food , depends on your personal liking ..its just like bangkok or singapore or mumbai .. 4 days are enough ..but if u do langkawi and penang it would be a complete trip including a beach destination and a heritage city .
Let me correct on my previous post its now Rs. 3705 for the Visa Fee if you apply directly from Malaysia VFS and will cost more if you approach any Travel Agent.
I did travel few years back when the Visa Fee was just Rs. 1000
regarding the VISA knowledge , specially people flyin AirAsia ..and people like me who juggle with the immigration to get the most out of the visa’s .. below is a very helpful forum …

Malaysia Visa Fee is Rs. 4,500
