1. All nexus phones are factory unlocked (ie. Nexus phones cannot be locked).

Warning for those who are going for this deal, i bought unlocked moto x first gen from amazon.com. now it has a problem with camera, though it’s not hardware issue, official motrola service centre guy told me he has to change the camera. i said okay and gave my. mobile. he saw at&t logo and on the back panel and said moto India doesnt give support for US moto mobiles. So now I’m left with moto x with no camera.
So now I’m buying this nexus.
just beware that you won’t get any support here even though you are ready to pay.
