Hi. The 4G enabled sim will give 2g/3g speeds in areas which don’t have 4g, or will it stop giving data connection at all in such areas?

I was using 4G in Virar area but unfortunately 4G network is not available inside home and ad Airtel does not have own 3G(Yes they are providing 3G services with help of Vodafone/Idea in Virar) mobile automatically switch to 2G instead of 3G. So no 3G in Vasai Virar circle if 4G network not available.
