Bro if Uber announced this offer also, than they have something in mind, and this is on groupon also…Not every one uses referrals system, ask any one aged above 35, So offer is for those who finds it usable for them…(For us youngsters, yes it is not of any use)

And we are not sure if groupon ends this deal even before the uber referral.. So lets not talk about the future and live with the current offers .. And UBER IS OFFICIALY GIVING GOOD ENOUGH OFFERS THAT WE DO NOT HAVE TO LOOK INTO GROUPON ( which is comparatively far less than uber ) .

U can have 2 accounts with Uber… not an issue…. Just be sure that they are not created on the SAME device…. i.e u can create uber ID by downloading APP on ur Friends/ family mobile… create an account…. use promocode….. logout from device….. U can then login to ur handset and it works….. have tried 2 accounts… even got banned while CREATING 2 IDs on same device…learned it the hard way!!!

I guess they are talking about MERAEVENTSIND offer where u get Rs 500*2 rides free . But the referral code is a better promotion as you get all free rides in one acct. and rides are worth Rs 600 each. But this is better for those who themselves are the referred users.

yes somebody updated this above.. I was not aware about it ( As i don’t have any new account any more).. Uber blocks account if you login in different accounts from same android id…So only can maintain 2 accounts now ( Mobile+Tablet)….Thanks

You were right. It had something to do with the double referral offer.
And now the double referral offer is reduced to 300Rs off on 1st ride.

I am posting this because last time few dimers didn’t think it was a good deal, But over 2900 coupon have been sold, That makes me think that this deal might be useful to some people….

I have found in my experience that these referral schemes mostly attracts young college people who are comfortable with these sort of things, but once you asked working/married people, they just don’t care about these sort of things, they just want things which comes easy to them…and makes their life comfortable…

Uber’s new user promotion is weird. I registered with uber almost an year back and applied promo codes to the account, But I never took any rides until last month. When I tried to use first ride promo codes, none had worked. I think uber’s logic of determining first ride is flawed. Anyway, I will be back to Ola after the experience with uber driver in chennai

Bro, that first ride come with validity, if u will not use then it will expire. Some how i feel Uber is much better than ola in terms of Rate Card and experience wise also.
Till now i think i have taken almost 50 rides with Uber, Never got any issue.

Yes, I know that they come with validity.. But if I had never taken a ride, I should be eligible for first ride promo, right? When I try to apply, it says a new user promo is already applied. If the earlier one is expired, it should say so instead of saying it’s already applied etc as if they are still providing the free ride..I partially agree with your experience as I felt uber is cheap and equally good in Hyderabad, but in chennai the first ride I took felt like an auto ride i.e., driver behaves like an uneducated fool.

you can change the number and email id and again take a new user advantage, now they are allowing to use 2 ride in same device.
its happened bro, but that driver behavior is not uber fault, give another chance to uber and i m sure u’ll be happy..
Use some frnd’s referral code, but use within time line.
