Manoj bhai from Megan himself wrote to me about some help he needed so asked him details.

Megan impex is the exclusive / sole seller for Nilkamal products online. If. any of you guys plan to buy the furniture will ask him to give a quote. PM me the model number.

Local or imported all is MDF which doesn’t last. A plywood cupboard will last 10-12 yrs while MDF may be 5-6 yrs max. Then again MDF price is cheaper.

Getting a carpenter home and all the hammering and saw dust. It’s hassle free to get ready-made that way.

Along with Zuari check out Ekbote furniture too. A pune base company with quality products.

the computer tables which are available in local market – are they same priced and same material as here for nilkamal or zuari

what about centre tables with glass top – solid wood and MDF cost in local market

Difficult to answer your question. Because each shop has its own dynamics of selling g some thing some have plywood and some have MDF while some sell some compressed wood. Talk about a specific model number then we can be on the same page. I have to decide on furniture for my home so this conversation will help.

Has anyone received the product? How was the installation process?

I think we have to call @home(1-800-121-1414) and book slot for installation. Also, we need to pay extra for the installation.

Can someone throw some light on the installation process?

Is anyone facing installation issue?

I am facing installation issue and have dropped mail to their(nilkaman and @home) customercare.

i have installed office table by myself. may require more attention for cots. however i feel they given the bolts and others for self installation.

Ordered office chair on 17th but still seller didn’t dispatched it.😞

Any one received chair from the seller?

where and which shop. any one knows. that person did not tell me the place

I have ordered the Nilkamal Alto Office Chair on 19th, the product was in ‘processing mode’ till 29th of april, finally i mailed to paytm and they said it will be delivered within next 48 hours, well its still not shipped. I am in Mumbai and the seller himself is from mumbai!

my order is successfully delivered. i had to pay octroi rs 400. i raised this issue on paytm Twitter. i got 400 rs cb within 15 mins.

which product u bought and why octroi if shipping and delivery is within mumbai

Well i bought nilkamal alto office chair. I dont know why they asked me to pay octroi. The fedex guy said you have to pay 401. As it comes from panvel side. I did not refuse the order and paid him the money and i got the octroi reciept.

oh might be they charge octroi for nilkamal products….

had ordered one furniture on snapdeal from delhi did not pay any octroi. this was in march

400 on what amount was the octroi charged

Sorry octroi was 292, service charge:100 service tax:12.
But glad i got it back from paytm.

I paid this extra amount. so it was my right to get it back.
