Philips HQ912 Rechargeable Washable Clean Shaver MRP 1795 available @1043

It is very less than its MRP. And finding Philips product with almost 42% discount is awesome!
Why this deal was not liked by anyone ? Can anyone gimme some clues ?

Other Philips shaver models available in this price range(after including the discount) like HQ801, HQ803, HQ130 & HQ6940 dont have a Rechargeable Cordless feature. Moreover we are getting at max a discount of around 200-300 in these models but this HQ912 is available at 752 INR less than its MRP.

Any reviews for the item ??

The main attraction is its low price as compared to its MRP and the Rechargeable Battery feature.

I think its a very good deal. Have voted up!!! Though I’m unsure if letsbuy would honour multiple orders.

I think a Philips product with 42% discount deserves to be FDP.
Wat others say ??

As far as I know, the local shopkeepers hardly give discount more than 5% to 8% on Philips Products and they say “Philips mein kam margin milta hai”

Does it have user replaceable battery.. Sealed shavers are waste of money if yo cannot replace battery…

Its Philips HQ130. Its MRP is 895 and one can get it at 665 (After applying ICICILB/RCOMLB1).
It is neither rechargeable nor washable ! It doesn’t have Reflex Action technology .
Moreover its available with only 25% discount whereas HQ912 is available at 42% discount.
As both are from the same brand, so, more the price more is the quality and satisfaction .

I use similar shaver HQ902. But that is battery powered (uses AA batteries)
Look wise it’s exactly same (I guess only rechargeable part is different) and quality wise an excellent product.

HQ912 = HQ902 + Rs 500 (based on MRP)
I think both the models are same.. except tht HQ912 has a rechargeable battery for which they are charging Rs 500..

@gmonline: That kit doesn’t have a HQ902 included.
Its totally different from this one. It has many attachments given with it for different purposes.

@extremeshopping, I bought HQ902 at INR 1250/= from futurebazaar around 9 months back.
HQ912 at INR 1043/= is really an amazing deal.

Gives almost a clean shave within no time !

It has a detachable Rechargeable Battery. (One need to unscrew the product to get the battery out and dont know whether this battery will be available in local market or not )
I haven’t seen the battery yet !

may sound funny, but can it be used to shave your ‘you know what’ hair (guys only, only we risk cutting something very useful )? I’m sure I’m not the first one to think of such a use of this shaver:-P
