I was very tempted to buy 4 tb drive in 10% cashback offer last time. but I didn’t and I would never recommend anyone to buy Seagate drive online.

Seagate doesn’t have a good warranty policy in place. A lot of drives that are sold in India are “Imported ones” because of low cost which will show up as “In Warranty” on their website but when you need a replacement “Accel frontline” which handles seagate will deny the warranty if its imported product and will say that you should contact the dealer. I doubt Snapdeal will help you when that happens.
