Its Time to celebrate by giving away special badges to those special Dimers who constantly share deals, coupons, who are always here to help other Dimers, who are actively participating in discussion, who helps you save more with their reviews and analysis. who’s contribution helps us grow and build a stronger shopping community.
So lets celebrate buy giving away these special badges. Each of you can nominate 3 people for each title and then we will create a poll to select the winners.
DealHunter – Finds and posts unique deals always.
Entertainer – Entertains everyone. Witty.
CouponBaba – Good knowledge about coupons. Can easily figure out which coupon can be applied on a specific deal to get the most benefit. Also gives away coupons.
Perfectionist – Very systematic. Does their job at Full Perfection.
Analyst – Keen observation. Analyses and combine options to make the deals even more cheaper than what is posted.
Blogger – Has a good potential to write stuff.
Critic – Actively comments on deals judging the various aspects to core and so professionally. He may also have an unfavourable opinion most of the times but backs it up with solid logic/reasoning.
Shopping Friend – Extremely helpful person. Guides those who are new at shopping. Might even help someone who is in dire need of a coupon.
DealBaba – Good knowledge about deals. Can get u the best offer. Gives valuable advice to shoppers.
Budding Star – Has contributed hugely to the community and have become an all-rounder in a short span of time.
Deal Legend – Extremely famous for sharing the best deals. Very consistent.
Community Angel – Always helps others. Has shown exemplary conduct or virtue towards the community.
Coupon Hunter – Finds and posts unique coupons always.
Tech Guru – Expert in or enthusiastic about technology.
Dimer of The Year 2015 – Shown extraordinary improvement over the year in various aspects. Can be an all-rounder.
Custom Badges – If u feel that a certain dimer deserves a badge/title that is not mentioned above then please feel free to share the badge with us along with deserving dimer and valid reason for it.
You can nominate till 30th November 2015. Then we will create poll for each title and badges will be awarded.

We will declare badges winner on the basis of entries we received via dimers.

All the above definitions are of my own opinion and may differ with the people/admin(s) whom you had tagged.
I also wanna check is there any update of the special privileges that DD promised to give for people above specific RANK i.e., Deal Major/Colonel etc., so that we/they can also supervise on the forum when needed. If there are no special privileges what is the use of these ranks and badges
Thanks for sharing your POV, bro. I agree with your definitions except for the one you gave for Coupon Baba. That makes it sound like a badge for the “Giveaway King” or something like that.
As for any privileges above a certain rank, DD does provide the puny negative Karma privilege for Deal Majors and above. The negative points we can give are laughable when we consider that even a newbie can offset our negative Karma points in an instant. I agree that badge owners or senior rank holders should be given more privileges. Let’s wait and see what the admins have to say about this.

Five more suggestions from my side:
Developer: the dimmers who are continuously associated with the development of this community (e.g. DS bro, TG bro Discount M bro and others)
DD Lifetime achievement award : For those retired dimmers who did a significant contribution but not active now. For the oldies basically.
DD Hall of fame: Active or retired dimmers who reached certain level of achievement in terms of DD criteria. A separate section may be created for HOF where the achievement of the old members will be featured so that the new members can get some motivation from it.
The Godfather .. the ultimate badge here.. after getting this you may die happily..
Special badges for the mod or admins: they should not be counted with the common dimmers but we can vote for them for the badges like mod of the year , admin of the year , super mod, super admin* etc.

Coupon Baba – Helping others with coupons for free
Coupon Hunter – Posting coupons in the coupons section
Perfectionist – Perfect in all aspects, I mean like the way you are by dealing with people/deals/situations and reply accordingly
Analyst – Analyze deals and provide their reviews or comments
Community Angel – Spreading joy over the forum, mainly “Wish A Friend” section i.e, to wish dimers on their achievements and special moments.
