Terms and Conditions for Extra 10% Offer
1. Definitions
i. Bank: Standard Chartered Bank in India.
ii. Offer: The Offer means “Extra 10% cashback on all spends between 5th to 31st Oct” as more
specifically described in Clause 2 hereunder.
iii. Offer Period: The Offer Period shall commence from 00:01 hours on 5th Oct’16 and shall extend upto

iv. Qualified Customer: The offer is only applicable to Standard Chartered Credit Card holders who have
registered/opt-in for the offer and who meet the spends threshold described in Clause 2 hereunder
2. Offer Details
i. Customer has to register/opt-in for the offer between 00:001 hours on 5th Oct’16 to 11:59 hours on 31st
Oct’16.
ii. Customer can register for the offer by messaging “EXTRA” to 57575 OR by clicking on the URL given in
the e-mailer sent by the bank
iii. Customer would be eligible for cashback on all spends between 00:01 hours on 5th Oct’16 up to 11:50
hours on 31st Oct’16
iv. Cashback will be calculated as per the below schedule:

`50,000 – 99,999 5.0% `1,000

vi. The cashback is per on a per customer basis

This is meaningless from standard chartered. Why they are advertising 10% cashback when maximum cashback they are giving is only 3.33%?
By their logic they can also tell 100% cashback but capped at 10k 
Making fool of customer.. tell me any spend value when i can get 5% or 7.5% or 10%.. Simply making fool… Either they made mistake in max cashback table.. you cant get more than 3.3 % in any case..
Guys, seems like there is widespread confusion about this deal so let me try to address a few things.
(1) The cashback would only be given for spends in October. At the same time, you have to spend a certain amount till December to be eligible for the cashback.
(2) Basically, say you spend 1 lac in October and then another 2 lacs by the end of December. Then you will get 10% of 1 lac (=10K) as cashback.
Hope this clarifies the major confusion people are having with this deal.

Bhai log. U all are getting it wrong, sorry to say. Suppose u spend rs 15000 in Oct. 5% is 750/-. To qualify for this amount you have to spend at least 35000 in the next couple of months.
If u spend 3 lacs in three months then cashback should be 10% which is 1500 (Oct)
Marketing Gimmick..and a novel way to make fool of unsuspecting consumers…If I spend 1 lac in Oct and another 2 lac in Dec and cashback will be given only if i spend those 2 lacs (in case I am looking for 10K cashback slab) then why the hell shd i calculate 10K on 1 lac and not on 3 lac… after all without those spends in Nov and Dec, I will only get babaji ka thullu.
Good only if u r usually spending month in month out so much and then u dnt need to do all calculations prior to spending…U jst spend and u get it whenever due..
spend 53400 in oct month,,rest 46601 till dec 31,, for which will make total 1 lakh 1 rs,,u ll get 4000 rs cashback…which is most profitable to us accordig to slab they kept

It’s not an offer also or what we can say is dumbest offer in the banking sector. We should file a complaint against bank for misleading customer by misrepresentation of facts. Didn’t expect an international bank of that name is promoting this offer.

4% cashback on spending’s from 1,00,000 to 2,99,999 (better stop at 1,00,000)
