The number of Antennas barely effect signal range, the two antennas are for double bandwidth (i.e. 300Mbps)
single antenna have 150 Mbps bandwidth

For extending range you can go over to AliExpress and buy a better antenna for your router.

One tip to someone buying adsl routers. Always buy a cheaper adsl router and a good wifi router and use them in combination.

yes, you could even get dual band router for around 2.5k
which adsl2+ are available for around 7-8k

Antennas have significant impact on range more then bandwitdh (Refer to link above). Both W8970 and W8970B are same in terms of bandwitdh only the range and signal strenght will differ…with number of antennas

Why this router instead of tons of AC750 and even AC1200 routers available in the same price range once in a while? Those routers are not ADSL but most of us will already have atleast one ADSL router from the service provider. And they have Gigabit Ethernet, USB cloud and printing support, etc.

Only Slightly, notice that all the antenna have the same gain
They can only reduce destructive interference due to other wifi signals in the same channel.
