UBER Free Rides upto rs 3500 in total 10 rides

uber debited from my account ecen whn i had credit and promo codes … its my first ride also … when i mailed thm … i got a reply

Thanks for writing in. I had a look into the matter. Our system has blocked all promotions on your account due to violations of our terms of use. The same anti-fraud measures are placed directly on your systems when it detects potential abuse of active promotions.

But this is my first use of uber rider

OFFTOPIC : by any chance are you from kerala?

I guess there currently there is no way to swap coupons.. Also, reapplying coupons may or may not override previously applied coupon.. did anybody check on that??

Uber rides are nothing but regular taxi rides. No car poooling or anything. You can book a uber taxi using uber app. There are certain coupons( Promos) that will let you travel in uber taxi on discouted rates. For example the 300 off rides will give you 300 off on total bill and incase your bill is 300 rupees or less you ride for free. Hope this helps.

Happy to help. Incase you havnt noticed the 5 free rides worth 300 each would expire by 6pm on sunday so if you are planning to test uber do it soon.:cool:

I took a ride yday worth 296 and had to pay nothing. Excellent experience i must add.

There is no way to find out unless we try it ourself. for some reason it has become very hard to find uber taxi in my area now. Looks like everyone is happily using the paytm offer

ya kerala… thy just started service in kerala this week.. i tested only tdy and is disappointed

Applying different variation of generic promotional codes is not considered as fraud by any standards.

Don’t worry. Try to create a another ID from a difference device ,different ip address and a off course a different phone number.

By any chance you created multiple uber ID’s from same pc/same device / same IP?

i didnt create but i loged in my device with my brother account since he couldnt find paytm wallet option in his phone .

now wht can be done .. i cant use my mobile for uber again ! any tricks or anything ?

I’ve created many.. That time wasn’t aware much..
But luckily no account blocked.. atleast not yet! But that may be due to the reason that I don’t really use uber much now, especially those other accounts!

Bad thing abt uber cab.
They charge extra 2 rs per min for travelling time.
In case of Ola , they charge just for waiting time.

Then you should probably try atleast once. When you signup use any of these codes which are applicable only for first ride

I used uber taxi to travel in chennai for free… it costed 100 rs for the ride but free because of the offer..
Excellent service by uber.
Better to use taxi and cab in chennai than autos….

AFAIK they would be going with the time of confirmation and not the end time of ride

i also think so – the start time should be before 6 pm.
BTW took ride today morning, awesome free experience..

Uber confirmed on twitter saying that the ride must be confirmed before 6 P.M. So, in your case, you will get the free ride.
