must be their internal delivery adjustment.

app is giving discount only on Value store total amount.

I think the same question from somebody else has been already answered. But just to provide you clarity, you will soon discover that Grofers has created a few virtual category specific stores for most localities. As I have mentioned before in another thread, in the near future, Grofers will change their business model and become like BigBasket (own warehouses and sourcing). Then, only these virtual stores will remain and all the local grocery store listings will likely be removed from the app (or they might use a Hybrid model).

Examples:

Mother’s Love Store for fruits & veggies
Grocery Mart for general grocery
Value Store for limited grocery items (usually the ones with high margin )
The Pet Shop for items related to pets

@dealseeker :: u r totally right. that is their business model. At present they r analysing the amounts for stock required at different locations of a city, that can be ordered in each locality, on specific days, and can be dispatched from that location to nearby areas in least time. they’ll stock directly from companies, and earning profit from margin that is usually distributed among distributors, wholesalers & retailers.!
