Just my opinion, but incentives, especially of a monetary nature, should not be offered to anyone, just to egg them on to exercise their franchise. It is a fundamental duty of a citizen, and should be exercised as is ( or not, it’s a matter of free will, though is expected).
While I’m not asserting that someone will vote, specifically because of this incentive, and quite probably there is nothing amiss in it, but, nevertheless, it’s a poor principle to offer incentives and prizes for performing a duty.

Just encouragement for voting. Don’t know whether the guy voting will indeed go for offers like goibibo etc. because if you do not really use goibibo then their goibibo cash is a waste. Here desidime is not giving incentives to all. So no question of incentive to vote, its just a competition. There are so many lazy (OOPS) fellows out there like me who need edging to do the work. Incentives can also motivate the public to vote in large numbers thus gives a sense of satisfaction by majority mandate since major chunk of the population has voted.
