This is Android stock version Yuphoria.
The one we were getting earlier was the Cyanogen version.
So, this is better. Cyano had many bugs.

To me the build quality of this is decent enough, only issue is the bugs which this rom has, now with the official launch of a variant with Vanilla Android Rom we can expect a faster update to Android Marshmallow.

Cyanogenmod used to be a custom rom and Cyanogenmod has many features which even the latest version of Android would not have in fact Google has added a few features of Cyanogenmod rom to their Vanilla Android version the which Google gives to Smartphone manufacturers and they launch with their Nexus, Play edition & Android one lineups, in this the Cyanogenmod rom gas many bugs like speakers stops to work some times and needs a device reboot to start working again, screen takes about 5-6 seconds to wakeup, Raped Battery drain, it takes about 5-7 seconds to display the name of caller after it starts ringing, some unknown bug is causing the Device to get stuck first and then it reboots but this happens very rarely, these the issues I am facing on the latest version of rom on my Yuphoria, i would suggest the stock rom variant cause YU would not have modified a stock soo much that there would be bugs but I would still suggest you too wait until some reviewers post a review of this variant the one I would suggest is C4ETech channel on YouTube."@ektankur2013":http://www.desidime.com/users/124289 wrote:What is the different between this android & Cyanogen version? If you don’t believe, download the list and try calling service center of your area, you will get to know the truth !

I have purchased this phone for my wife and we are very unhappy with it. Its keeps on giving some sort of problem sometimes it restarts automatically, some time power key doesn’t work properly, sometimes battery drops from 80% to 0% in a second, sometime the SIM slot doesn’t detect the SIM.
There are no service centres where we can take this phone we have to call customer care and they give some different steps like factory reset, hard reset after which phone works ok for few days and again start giving some new issue,
The phone is so bad that I have to clear its browsing history every morning for all the bad things it keeps doing late at night.
I bought this for my wife the 2nd time it was on sale after launch and we have not experienced any issues with the device. She easily gets a day’s battery life out of it after some moderate usage which includes a few calls, social media apps and some shopping apps. Never had any unexpected reboots or heating issues. She will also listen and watch videos during commute and the battery easily handles them. Though we never do any gaming on the device and perhaps that is when this falters….Its very good value for money, looks very premium and better than 1st gen Redmi 1 and A6000 both of which we tried and did not like. Do not know about the after sales service issues as we never had any complaints. Just my two cents!!!!

yu..nw there is too much congestion in market..so many gud phones r out there..
my Yuphoria is running perfect now, had couple of issues like get’s struck after double knock to unlock and heating issues, battery draining, as mentioned in some where in one of the forums i have disabled the double knock to wake up and uninstalled all custom themes (now using stock theme) and cleared the dalvik cache, that’s it….since then no heating, battery draining, nothing since last couple of months….Good luck…
