Absolutely. You hardly get 7.2 mbps in this price range or above + Plus this one has hotspot support too.

Don’t know about mac support.. Nothing mentioned.

Btw Wifi hotspot can be created with some simple commands in any laptop without any software. Also connectify can be used, if its built in soft wifi doesn’t work. Win7 and above natively support wifi hotspot by some commands.
