A short review of Asus Google Nexus 7 tablet edit delete delete with repost warning

Here’s the unboxing video of the Nexus 7. It was a great feeling to get my hands on this beauty LOL

I’ve been using this tablet for about 2 weeks.
Ordered from tradus(seller, iBhejo) for 14,250. Delivered within 48 hours.

• Got Jelly Bean 4.2 out of the box, hence, fresh piece
• A very very handy tablet. You can really use it with a single hand and feel comfortable as it is really light weight
• Build quality is pretty good too.
• Pure Android experience, no bloatware!
• Installed many many apps on this device. No compatibility issue and No lag issues as yet!
• Currently, I’ve installed about 4 heavy games on this device (GTA vice city, TDKR, Virtua Tennis, The Amazing SpiderMan). All of ’em run smoothly
• Best tablet for Media Consumption and Gaming also!
• Battery backup is fair IMO. Been playing a lot of games and I’m satisfied with the backup but when it comes to heavy games, like TDKR and SpiderMan, they eat up a lot of battery!

I am assuming you ordered a 16Gig version. What is the space available for user apps?
This is critical as there is no provision for adding memory card in the device.
Also, are you facing any of the screen blacklight bleeding issues which was earlier reported for Nexus 7?
Also shed some light on the battery backup in numbers.

I am contemplating between this and Tab 2 and hence inputs would be highly helpful.

I purchased 16 GB wifi only model. If you need sim slot…gotta pay 10K extra for that

Yes indeed 16GIG version! You can use 12GB for apps… i just saw in the settings! Wow

Yeah, lack of memory card is a bit frustrating but USB OTG works fine here I can carry my stuff in pen drive agar zyada hi keeda hai to

No screen blacklight bleeding issues fortunately Its the fresh model got 4.2 out of the box!

Battery backup is about 7 hours if you watch movies… Actually i saw 3 movies back to back last sunday…and about 18% juice was left! But not so good backup when i play HD Games like TDKR and TASM.

Stand by is awesome. I fully charged the tablet one day and din’t use it for about 20 hours… i saw battery was 99%! andaza lga lo ab khud hi!

I needed pure google experience and idgaf about sim card slot as well. So it had to be Nexus 7(also because i have wifi in my home and android phone which i can use as a hotspot)

It totally depends on your usage. I think tab 2 is better choice if you care about sim slot, calling and internet on the go using that sim card!
P.S. Tab 2 proved the best tablet ever when it comes to drop tests! now make your own choice!
