Hello Guys,
I recently purchased a HP laptop via Amazon.. After receiving the product i thought to register..on HP site, i found the product guarantee already running 3 months back from my purchasing.. I was unable to return to seller as 15 days return policy was also gone.
So I contacted Amazon CC, and they informed me that the product cover under 1 year AMazon’s warranty policy and i can return it anytime within 1 year. As that model doesnt support win7 and i was in need of that OS, so i decided to return. And wow, Amazon returned my product after 1 months and returned my complete payment just after 6 hours of pickup. I would like to share my experience as My trust on Amazon increased with this.

Warranty part is ok
but you returned just because you thought ur laptop doesn’t support windows 7?? This isn’t good man
It doesn’t mean that laptop wont support windows 7 if drivers for that particular os aren’t made available on hp website
You will get all the required driver updates through windows update
And regarding that warranty part too
if you have got a sealed box, just mail your invoice to hp customer care they will reset your warranty period
yes..it doesnt support … i was able to install win7 .. but while working on windows…. system becomes irresponsive and blue screen occurs which is called “Blue screen of death” .. consulted technician and also googled but found no solution. … so returned the product…

Mostly its problem with Windows 7 from particular source. Hope you tried with another windows from another source too.
If you did transaction via Credit card and returned…I guess it may effect your CIBIL score..esp big amounts.
amozon,flipkart services are good only Snapdeal sucks with their 7 day return policy…
Sir.. instalked win 7 3 times.. but same issue.. win 8 runs smoothly… and regardding payment.. i have made via gc… so no prob i thunk..
