Hello guys,

I’ve got a luminous inverter and it’s battery is dead. Need to buy a new battery for the same. I’ve got no clue about what are the existing prices and which battery should I go for but when I searched over desidime it was said somewhere that it’s cheaper to get it offline. Please guys help if someone knows..

Any suggestion would be highly appreciated !!

PS: Its just for regular home use like 2-3 lights and fans.

visit 2-3 local stores and prices won’t be much different from place to another. also you can dispose off your old battery at good price I guess you must get at least 1000 and utmost 3000 for old dead battery, contact the guys selling they’ll happily buy dead one.

after deducting old battery price my guess is 6-7 thousand. it can be more or less as am not expert, telling you from what I heard few days ago as we are also facing acute power cuts and had abandoned our inverter 3 years back as requirement was not much and it was costing too heavy on monthly bills.

go with exide inverter battrey…

can give 18-22 hrs of backup…my friend has one and his inverter(luminous) backup is 20 hrs with one fan and one tube…he bought it at price of 11000 in exchange of old one (desi battery)

2 yrs ago I purchased luminous. tubular battery 150 ah apx 10000rs. now price may be same if u get it for exchange. of ur old battery for backup total watt formula is ah* battery volt for ex 150*12= 1800 watt total backup means u can run 100 watt fan 18 hours but also depend on ur inverter.
actually. in market flat. semi tubular and tubular or tall tubular comes tubular seems better than other first choose ah. than brand u can check luminous, okaya and exide etc all comes with pro rata warranty. means 2+2 yr warranty. 2 yr full replacement than. some deduction. on new battery over mrp of same brand. my advice. go for exide tubular get some quote from local sellers buy 150 ah one. and never run battery with low water. always check monthly. float indicator
