Aramex has now started fabricating delivery information.

It all started last month, when freecharge sent me my physical coupons through Aramex on December 28th. When I did not get the coupons till Jan 7th, I filed a complaint. Aramex tracking showed that the item had reached my city on December 29th, but nothing after that. On 11th Jan, Aramex finally delivered the coupons. However, on their online tracking, they showed December 30th as the delivery date! I wrote a complaint to them, but there has been no response.

On my next order from freecharge, they sent the physical coupons through Aramex again – on Jan 27th. No delivery so far. I complained to both freecharge and Aramex. Suddenly, this morning, freecharge guys sent a response where they pointed out that Aramex tracking says that the item has been delivered on Jan 29th! The fact is that the delivery has not happened yet.

So finally, Aramex has progressed – after a year of providing horrible service, where they at times took upto 2 weeks to deliver the items after it reached my city, they have taken the easy way of not delivering items while claiming that it has been delivered.

Time to call them choramex, I guess.

I must add that so far, the interaction with freecharge support has not been great either. They are giving me a very good motivation to shift to paytm/rechargeitnow/whoever else who don’t charge the Rs 10 extra.

Many including me have had similar experience with freecharge & Aramex , this is the reason i stopped using freecharge , the coupons never reached me & after lots of complaining some one from amamex would deliver left over mostly expired coupons , if i have to order coupons i only order E-coupons delivered by email. You should send a link to this thread to Aramex’s twitter id so they look into this https://twitter.com/…ex .

I know many others have also had problems with freecharge and aramex. However, what is surprising to me is Aramex repeatedly putting up false delivery information. I did not say anything in this forum when it happened the first time, but raised it with Aramex CS. There was no response, and it happened again. This basically means that it is not a one off thing, and Aramex is not willing to fix the problem. At this stage, one can assume that it is not just an errant delivery boy that one is dealing with, but a dishonest business.

For anyone interested – I have not heard from Aramex so far, except for a mail on 13th that they are still investigating the issue.

As for freecharge, after a lot of prodding, they finally said that this was either a technical glitch or a goof up by the courier, and as a gesture of goodwill, they will send me another set of coupons. I blasted them, pointing out that there’s no goodwill involved here – they have simply failed in their commitment to deliver me the coupons, so they owe it to me to send another and regardless of who goofed up, it is their responsibility, which I haven’t seen them own up.

Of course, I have not received the coupons – neither the original nor the ones freecharge promised to send, and have no idea if they have at all sent them. I couldn’t care less about the coupons, but the attitude of freecharge – not to mention Aramex – is seriously alarming.

I ordered a mobile at ncarry recently. Shipment had to travel 200 km from Gurgaon. 2 days it stayed in Mahipalpur. 3rd day it was forwarded to Delhi hub. 4th day I got tracking as Shipment Delay – Uncontrollable Due to Carrier. On calling Aramex I was told it must be electronic item which is not sent via flight! eek I said it’s nearby shipment and even by foot it should have come in 4 days. Today is 5th day and my parcel is travelling India and now in Mumbai showing shipment out for remote area. Crazy! I should have bought mobile by visiting ncarry instead. biggrin Aramex local branch told it’ll come not before 24th. Looks like India tour is not over. smile

Update: received the coupons from freecharge today. I didn’t receive them, so I don’t know which courier was used.
One good thing: they gave me coupons with validity till 30th April.

aramex is a shitty company , as soon as they see freecharge they do not deliver the coupons, i have faced same issues with them and i know some more people in kolkata who face the same issue didnt know it was happening nationwide , i often wrote on desidime too that maybe the aramex guy eats my free burgers, ARAMEX SUX!! Maybe you guys can understand how frustrated i am , evil

Aramex mein definetely sab [NO ABUSIVE LANGUAGE].

Those [REMOVED] returned my videocon of HS18 without even attempting to deliver. They put reason that door closed.

also for a yebhi COD order they did the same saying door closed for 3 days atempts and sent back. the intresting fact was yebhi logistics almost delivered every day of that week (1rs Slippers) so there was proof that couriers were coming and that too from same shopping company.
