Aramex has now started fabricating delivery information.
It all started last month, when freecharge sent me my physical coupons through Aramex on December 28th. When I did not get the coupons till Jan 7th, I filed a complaint. Aramex tracking showed that the item had reached my city on December 29th, but nothing after that. On 11th Jan, Aramex finally delivered the coupons. However, on their online tracking, they showed December 30th as the delivery date! I wrote a complaint to them, but there has been no response.
On my next order from freecharge, they sent the physical coupons through Aramex again – on Jan 27th. No delivery so far. I complained to both freecharge and Aramex. Suddenly, this morning, freecharge guys sent a response where they pointed out that Aramex tracking says that the item has been delivered on Jan 29th! The fact is that the delivery has not happened yet.
So finally, Aramex has progressed – after a year of providing horrible service, where they at times took upto 2 weeks to deliver the items after it reached my city, they have taken the easy way of not delivering items while claiming that it has been delivered.
Time to call them choramex, I guess.
I must add that so far, the interaction with freecharge support has not been great either. They are giving me a very good motivation to shift to paytm/rechargeitnow/whoever else who don’t charge the Rs 10 extra.
