How was your experience? Is it real or fake?

I want to sell my mobile too.

I finally sent my mobile to atterobay. Estimated price was Rs 5380 for my Nokia E7. After inspection they reduced the price to Rs Rs 3782.
They say my mobile is repaired but I never repaired it.
If I agree to this price, I can get Rs 3782. If I disagree, they will send my mobile back in 21days.
This is total waste of time. You should use this only if your mobile is broken or non-functional.
They pay very less as compared to what you can get in local shops.

i wanted to sell my nokia 5800

they quoted me 2080
when i couriered my phone it was working fine

they quoted me 140 on checking it
I was shocked but i asked them to return it

when i received my handset LCD was broken and they claim they received in that condition

as per T/C if phone is damaged during transit they are not responsible

i don’t know who did it but sending them is a bad idea

on the name of recycling they take advantage of quoting less

I didn’t want any data security issues so I didnt want to sell it to a local store and I am concerned about the environment – Atterobay seemed to be the right option as they were offering eco-friendly recycling and strict data security services too.

They had quoted 4500/- for my working cellphone and I got paid in full. Although the money did make me feel good, I was more happy about being able to help the environment by recycling responsibly. Overall, I had a pretty good experience with them.

I started this thread .After dealing with Atterobay.com I have found that they are very reliable site for recycling/selling old mobiles.I have shared my experiences in following post-

Strictly avoid, they show high estimates but once you send your phone, they offer 70% less price. This is my first hand experience for 2 of my phones iPhone 3G (Quote: 2123, Revised Offer: 900) & LG Optimus 2X (Quote: 1855, Revised Offer: 600).

I recalled both my mobiles back and both were damaged to some extent or the other (iPhone cover loose, headphone jack broken, speaker dysfunctional, LG cover partially broke, speaker randomly working.

Their pickup & drop was the only professional aspect encountered by me.

Unless your phone is completely broken and no one else is buying it, I suggest everyone to stay away from Atterobay.

Don’t go for this site. They trick you my quoating more offer for your old mobile as compared to other site. once you send them the mobile they will find all sorts of fault in it which did not exists when you sent them. they will lower down the valuation to about 30% of the original quote. if you reject the same your phone comes back in damaged condition. In short take less price or damaged phone back. Also they save on tax by saying it is for recycling. no actual recycling happens. if it was to be recycled why the phone condition would matter much. Better sell your phone to local dealer or on olx / quickr.

same happened with me. Atterobay is total fraud

Same here. My phone was in mint condition. Nokia Lumia 830. Hardly used. Quoted 12,999 and after receiving said 6000 rupees. When i asked to ship the phone it tooks more than two weeks and also the battery was changed and phone looked horrible. Had offers of 11,000 on OLX but didn’t read reviews earlier and sent the phone. Highly disappointed. Please don’t deal with atterobay even if you have a throwaway phone. Just Throw it and the matter is closed eight there.

such irresponsible company, complete waste if my time and its been 12 days but still no resolution.

Few days back i sent my iphone 5 which they valued for 16000 and then it took 25 days to evaluate the mobile and after that they quoted me 9000 saying touch screen and display broken. whereas i sent my mobile in perfect condition and i dont know it was my mistake that i sent my mobile to these cheaters and fraud company. guys please beware they are big time fraud and also damage ur phone.

i booked my Galaxy s4 quoted by atterobay for 7,499.00

2) on 20/11/2015
i received a package containing a tamper-proof bag and cardboard box to store my phone a accessories for shipping.
i packed my phone and accessories as per directions given by them and sealed the bag for courier

3) on 22/11/2015
courier person arrives for pickup, i hand him over the sealed package, now fun begins he want me to open the bag and show him whats inside i refused, then he said we have directions to follow we cant accept without seeing whats inside, that was frustrating i haven’t been told about this by atterobay i called them several time that moment but no one answered the phone. but the man at my door insisted that they do it daily and not to worry we will pack it and it will be our responsibility to deliver it safely to receiver, so i had to tore open the bag and show him. then he gave me acknowledgment and left with the package

package got delivered to atterobay and i had to inform them about the delivery because they didn’t bother to inform me LOL

i got mail from atterobay stating that Display/touch has problems and quoted me 4,612.00, i immediately rejected and write them back here is the mail exactly as i send

i have send you a working handset which had no issue with display or touch and for your knowledge there was a tempered glass protector on display without a single scratch and i have put a case on front in reverse and wrapped it in bubble wrap and put it in a cardboard box you have provided
i have seen couple of cases on your Facebook page that how your technical team have took the working display out of the i pad and put a broken one on it don’t loot simple common man
i want my money back that was displayed on site and i am not excepting my phone back i am sure you have also done same with my phone and telling me that display and touch is not working, if you have stated that condition is not up to the mark and some money is deducted for that then it was acceptable but a complete lie
if the amount don’t reflect in my ac in 2 days then its your company and me,}

got a mail from them and they mention information of phone that they claim it was send from me Samsung Galaxy S4 IMEI**********
when i checked imei number with my original box and purchase order, it was different than they stated

7) on same day I mailed them original invoice and mentioned my original IMEI * and forwarded previously sent mail.

8) on 30/11/2015
i got call from atterobay about issue i was angry so i talked with her in hindi, {pura dho dala, khari khoti suda di,} then received a mail from them stated “We have forwarded your request to the concern department once we will get an update we will get back to you.”

9) on 1/12/2015
i received parcel from them, look what a trick they didn’t inform me anything about return just sent me the phone
and to my surprise by gods grace or by my indian language i got my phone fully functional and as i sent them only screen protector was removed

as i was thinking why i got my phone as it is when they mentioned display/touch not working, then i recall they have probably got scared and find that there way of treating people may come out in public when i complaint in police,

but then i think why not other people on facebook i came across withe same issue received their phone as it is. because they failed to show this fake ,fraud and chor company their power and true indian spirit

question’s still raises

• why they told me my screen or touch has problem
• why they send me IMEI number that was not my phone’s
• how come i received my phone as it is regards the issue they have stated

I have sold two handsets to atterobay. since I live in NCR, they offer pickup service from my place.

First time it was a blackberry Z3 Estimated price they quoted was 6699 and paid Rs.5877.00 (agree to it somehow as display was fixed by service center).

The second time it was my Lumia 730 whose quited value was Rs.7149.00 was evaluated at the same price of Rs.7149.00. I am waiting for the payment to be made now.

I am not a paid agent of atterobay Can show proofs if you wish to.

I had send my mobile 30 days back,I have not yet received my payment.whenever I call they say the by mistake the phone has gone to Bangalore.whenever it reaches them they will pay for it.Don’t know when?

I sent my phone to them, which was working very good. They said it is not working and offered me only Rs 299 for my Xperia..

Why don’t you go with https://www.gozun...m/. It is one of the best site to buy and sell used mobile phones in India.

Friends, This is an advice to not purchase or sell anything from this Fraud Company. I have been cheated big time by these guys and they do not have courtesy to even call and explain as why this mishap happened. The event goes this way: I sold my iPhone 4 to them few days back with an evaluated price of Rs-5,000, but the price they quoted me was way to low, as Rs- 2500. I ordered my Cell Phone Back from them, but received a Tape inside the box. I reported this issue but after few days of ironic stupidity which they call as investigation, they put the blame on me an courier company. Why would the courier company pay me ? I was dealing with Attero not the Courier company. I shared all video cliping, pictures and have several emails that i wrote to them but no response. Finally, i am going to customer court for this issue and starting a campaign so that such shameless people with no customer friendly values can understand what a cheated customer can do. #stopcheatingcustomersattero.

Very Dissatisfied with atterobay
Order Id:KK2016041330680 I have made several calls to customer care & I also have sent several emails to process the payment at the earliest & also requested the transaction number. The payment is still not initiated. The order was appoved on 21st 9:00AM & from 21st you have been informing 72hours. Why do you bluff?why do you lie? Is this fraud? I have sent several emails & I wasn’t satisfied with the replies at all. Customer care is total useless. I spoke to the manager Mt.vijay,he is changing his word every time I call him. He must be fired for lying to customers & not treating in a polite way & lying to customers with wrong status. After all,I wouldn’t recommend Atterobay to anyone. Payment has been delayed,when I contact for it.The issue must be escalated & must be accelerated which you failed to do it.

Dont go for Atterobay. They are cheating they wont inspect your phone, but they will quote least amount for your phone stating that your phone has touch problems, some network Issues etc.. But after rejecting the order you will get your phone back and it will work very fine.

Please dont go for it.
