I have had a very bad experience with Fetise.com after placing orders. The first of the orders arrived today. I had ordered shirts of size XL (definitely sure of that), and now all the shirts that have arrived are Size L. On the Order summary it shows “ShirtX Size L”. Fetise customer care has only a single non Tollfree number, and I had to wait 30 minutes to connect to a customer care guy. He insisted that it was my mistake, and that it couldnt be a site error. Finally they asked to mail to an email id.

On reading the Terms and Conditions, I can see that they do not offer refunds on items, and only either give a replacement or store credit. Overall, a very bad experience shopping with Fetise.com after using Myntra, Yebhi, Shopclues and Pepperfry without any issues.

thts not true. they very much offer 7 day return/refund policy including cash refund if you want it instead of store credits

wrt to size of the tees – go to my account and my orders and see what did u order. even your order confirmation email will have the size you ordered. if you are not happy with the size raise a ticket for return and refund

The order confirmation mail didnt mention size of the items, just name. The order confirmation info on the site shows “T-ShirtX Size L”.. I have no idea what a TshirtX is..

that is the official terms but they never refuse a refund if the customer asks for it – as part of good customer experience. i have had one sizing issue in past and they offered cancellation and refund in store credits. i was happy to take it and ordered something else https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_toungueout.gif

Well, problem with Store credits is that you can buy for just the amount you paid for. You cant use any other vouchers with it (As I did when I initially ordered it). So that means I cant have the 500 Credits which I clubbed with my Rs 750 to buy for an amount of Rs 1250. https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_wink.gif

No, I my Order confirmation email says nothing of the size. I’d have posted a screenshot, except for the fact that Desidime forum doesnt seem to offer such an option for IMG links. I have accepted just one shirt, and am planning to gift it to someone else who’s a size L. https://cdn3.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_sad.gif I refused to accept the other 5 shirts from the courier company, and will see whether Fetise offers cash refund. Even after 6 hours of writing to them, they havent responded to my email yet.

no fetise has wallet system – its different from vouchers. so the refund goes to your wallet and you can use wallet along with any other vouchers too. they are very friendly dont worry dude!

Interesting. Personal529 – you seem to have just posted Fetise deals since joining and are quite confident of their systems as well. Hope u r a genuine user and not from the company. If you are, it would be better if you do that openly than through such covert means. Raised an admin alert anyway.

alarm for? am i misleading any1 or posting anything wrong or making any false claims! yes am a regular customer of fetise and i posted my experiences. am also one of thier affiliates and run small coupon site of my own too but that has nothing to do with this forum since this forum doesnt allow affiliate links https://cdn2.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_rolleyes.gif so what is the problem in my participation?

Anyway I have had to go through a big rigmarole due to Fetise. One of the tracking number which was that of an order of another customer. Now heaven knows what happens when it gets returned to the company. The Spykar shirts were the only reason I ordered from Fetise, so it’s useless for me if they refund as their own coupons. Will wait it out for a week, and if they dont refund I’ll have to file a Consumer Case notice.

Update on this. Of all Four orders which I placed, all of them had issues. Incorrect size was dispatched for three. And for the fourth order, they sent me the order of another person. Raised customer complaint 3 weeks ago, then telephoned them this week and last week. On the phone, they’re very amiable and promised to resolve everything soon. So I waited patiently. But nothing has happened yet. Sent them a final email today warning of legal action if they dont refund the total sum of Rs 1785. Will be serving legal notices on the CEOs Abishek Shah and Subir Ghosh soon.

My experience with Fetise.com-Make sure that their system doesnt mess up the details of the product you’ve ordered. If it has, you’re in the soup.

They didnt resolve the issue even after three weeks. Filed a legal notice against Fetise.com. This is the last time I buy from Fetise.com. Desidimers, beware.

avoid fetise my experiance is also very bad I order two time from fetise.com they cancel my 1st order after 30 days and refund the money but they not refund the coupan 500 off on 1000

fetise don’t have reverse pickup facility and when I send the item back to them they not give me couier charges they credit the courier chrges in fetise a/c with the cap of Rs. just 100/-

so beware and avoid

Update on my issue with Fetise: After 2 days of sending a legal notice, one of their cust care team responded by calling back and asking what resolution I wanted. I told them I wanted a full refund. At the end of the day, they initiated a refund to my bank account. At least that’s what the automated system mail from Fetise says. I’ll wait for 7-8 working days and see whether they’re true.

The point is that a customer shouldnt have to respond with legal notices to get due service and resolution.

While the issue was in the fray, I ordered a set of 3 T-shirts-2 Puma and 1 Macri. They called and cancelled the Macri saying that it was OOS, though the system didnt show that.

Overall, Fetise service seems unprofessional. Maybe my issues are isolated, but I had issues in all 5 orders from Fetise. Compare that to Myntra. Never had an issue. Prompt shipping on the same day, quality items, reverse pickup. They even insert a plastic bag for packing the items for reverse pickup, in every package. Extremely professional.

Update on the issue:

They finally refunded the money to my bank account. It was a hassle to get them to do it. I did receive a set of Puma Tees that I ordered from them two weeks ago, and these were of the right size and seem original. They need to do a lot of work to add transparency and customer support.

You have to first exhaust the customer support asking for help. Open tickets online and/or call them up and record your conversation on your phone. Finally when they dont respond in a time bound manner and in a satisfactory way, you draft a legal notice as a formal letter.

Subject: Notice regarding filing of legal notice against ‘company name’

This is to bring to your attention that I had purchased a……fill up order details with Order no and date, payment details, any internet payment confirmation id etc….

Regarding this item, it had the following defects…

List of problems

I have tried to contact your customer support for resolving these issues…..details of online tickets/call transcripts…..

But despite all my pleadings, you have not made good the defect in product/deficiency in services. As a result, I have suffered losses in productivity and ….

You are finally called upon to remedy the defects, to:

Refund the entire amount paid/ replace the product with a period of ….. days as Cheque/Cash/Refund to Bank account, failing which I will filing a Consumer Case under the Consumer Protection Act 1986 for…..mention the violations of the Act


That’s the summary. Send it to the mail id of the Customer care team, or better to the CEO/COO/MD if you know their official mail id (Tip: Check DNS registrar entries)

Note: As per the Information Technology Act, 2000, a legal notice is permissible as an email. I have filed numerous complaints against AOC, Whirlpool, Godrej, HTC, Fetise.com, Ebay.in, Ebay.com, and Homeshop18 in electronic format and always received immediate resolution. While writing the letter, find out and mention the mail address of the CEO and address it to him, and mention your full address, mail id and telephone number. No company ignores Consumer Complaint notices. Consumer courts usually rule against the company, and the issue is often picked up the media, causing negative publicity to the company. Dont be misled by the terms and conditions posted by companies like Ebay. Those conditions are favorable to the company, but superceded by the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act.

If your Consumer Complaint notice is ignored, you can pay Rs 50 and file a consumer complaint in the District Consumer protection forum. But just before doing it, send them a last email letting them know that you’re giving them a final notice before filing a case. They usually respond. If they dont, they usually dont appear at the Consumer Court hearing, and forfeit action in their favor, in which case the court rules against them. I’ve never had to appear in court as all issues were solved by sending notices to the head offices of the companies/CEOs. The top level administration tends to avoid all legal actions and usually solve your issues before it goes to court. It’s the call centre idiots managing the greassroots customer care that fail to respond.
