I have called up at a number provided on the website (+91 11 49500100) and the lady was astonishingly rude. She was behaving so abnormally that I felt as if I am begging from gereen dust. She told me— “don’t waste my time and call 1800-103-3878, when I argued that 11 49500100 is mentioned on the website, she replied more rudely and said – “do whatever is been told to you and call other number, don’t waste my time, I am working in corporate office and you should not call at this no”.

This was not an end to the sad story. When I called at 1800-103-3878, the customer service lady was asking me if Credit Card Company have called me to confirm that the amount is paid to green dust and asked me to call only once I receive call from Credit Card Company. This was astonishing and I felt as if their customer service staffs are not trained have no knowledge on online shopping. They are just fooling around.
At this point I was out of my temper, and closed the call.

Ten minutes later, I got a call from them and they were saying that they don’t have this item in stock and they will have to cancel my order, either I will have to wait for 2 weeks.

I have ordered on 08/30, Got a call a day later confirming that my order has been shipped by Aramex. 09/05 they are saying they don’t have stock.
They did not inform or intimate me on anything until 09/05 and they started this communication only after I chased them.

I am very sure this company will die any time soon. They don’t have business sense and are zero in customer service. They don’t honor Orders placed on website, giving stupid excuses of out of stock.

What do you suggest, shall i wait for the product or ask for refund.It seems the deal was good.

i ordered with COD…my first was delivered in 2nd day and second order was placed 3 days ago,but no response till date..I was aware that they do drama in refunding so opted for COD…

any other negative or postive reviews, please share……need to know if they show any improvement

Reading your review I consider myself lucky that I received my order within a week. I had ordered a juicer using the discount coupon and received it within 7-8 days. But I must say that packing was not all that great. I’ll rate it 6.5 out of 10.

I have ordered wall mounting fan to them and they have send me the pedestal fan.
What a joke.

Just like there are the Golden Raspberry awards (Razzies) for the worst in movies, Greendust will soon have the honour of getting such a coveted award in E-commerce sites. Amen!

i too think one should avoid greendust based on my experience.i had placed an order 2 weeks ago and despite the money being debited from my acc the are still showing the payment as pending.
i have written many emails and have got no reply.on calloing them the say they will check with their payment site and rever to me ,

placed order last saturday no shipping till now

they have canceled my first order (cod) saying area not serviceable. i have placed my second order using coupon and netbanking 10 days ago. still order status is showing “processing”. customer care says need seven day to ship an order. waiting…

got my order in 1 weeks time from greendust excluding two sundays. im satisfied. they did not update the shipping details on website. no email. no sms. order came straight to home. still satisfied

Till now not shipped. I called them 3 times, they will put u on hold multiple times and cut the call.
Another time they said they will ship tomorrow and never shipped. They will never reply to your emails. I am frustrated and dont know wat to do.
Please dont do the mistake of order in greendust.
Let me know if there are any solutions.

Though I have satisfying experience with them , greendust is not a reliable site and there is no gaurantee that your order will be delivered.
They hardly reply back emails but my phone calls were promptly and nicely answered with my order updates and information. My orders also took long time to be shipped but products were good in quality and at steal prices.

Have you made payment for your order or is it COD ? If COD , just relax and wait another 1-2 weeks. If still it doesn’t show , chances are strong that it wouldn’t be shipped at all.
If you already paid , try to call them again and ask for refund. If buy again , buy always COD. That all I can suggest.

I have purchased solo microwave oven from the Green dust web site (invoice no 66376) on 11th January 2013 through courier the product was delivered .The product which I have received is not under warranty. After repeated reminders sales engineer has visited. The moment he plugged in microwave and pressed on START button entire building power went off .Engineer has told me that product is defective and they will refund the amount or replace with other one but till March 2, 2013 they have not done anything .I called customer care several times and had a word with Mr sonu chandela repeatedly but he has not done anything till date . Very frustrating

yes i advocate the site being worst in e-retailing selling used products.

i think they buy used products from their sources and sell at company rates fooling ppl as factory seconds.

i recieved this philips iron shown sum 2780 price .on packaging fully teared box mrp shown 1789..further deducted around 1300

i got discount of 200 rs.

so at last…product recieved plate intact allover scratched….rubber turned blackish all over…..and plug had a thumb mark fully embeded.

called customercare regarding the product being old they responded as saying factory showroom product.nt used .demonstration purposes only.company prices were 2789 at that time of manufacture,v r charging those.more than printed mrp.r v fools.

i dunt belive them name was also written on packaging with deducted prices lik sumone had thrown the product at shop for resale.

customer care told me send the product at ur expenses from ncr-chennai.v will discuss.the issue….not guarantee of money back.management decides.10 percent wud b deduction.
