A factual thread! The experience with Infibeam.com for me has been exceptionally great so far, they haven’t disappointed me one bit in all these 15 months that I have shopped from them. Simply awesome service, though not much into crazy coupon promotions and all unlike Letsbuy, they really have pretty attractive prices for books I must admit. Of course, Indiaplaza is the undisputed champion to me when it comes to providing heavy discounts on books.And Indiaplaza has been excellent to me when it came to books. Never disappointed me one bit.That stands irrefutable a fact. But Infibeam still has been around successfully in all these years and has in fact steadily sustained and risen in ranks in this crazy world of ecommerce business where many fall and rise everyday. All this without insane coupon promotions in the quest to survive the tough competition.

Infibeam = Steady and totally reliable!

They are good and reliable but for one of my orders they took really long to deliver.

Order placed on 13th Sep ( 2 diff products in single order, 1st product 1 qty, 2nd product 2 qnty)
1st product shipped on 21st Sep

2nd product shipped on 14th Oct ( after many follow ups they don’t care to reply to your mails, they only reply if u write them on FB wall)
however only 1 qnty

On complaining them remaining was shipped on 19th OCt.

Good experience with them, but they are definitely not at par with Flipkart. No email support is a big pain. Some orders they have delayed, but overall deal made it worthwhile for sure. One of the few sites I feel confident dealing with.

However good thing is toll free no No worries about phone bills

Once i’ve ordered Immortals of Meluha with a free mug signed by the author..When i recieved the book, i didnt get the Mug. I called the CC and they replied immediately not like other CCs where ur call ll be on hold with irritating music. They told me that there was a delay since they didnt get the mugs signed and promised me that they’ll deliver it in a week.. I got it exactly after week as they promised. There may be few such delays due to some reasons but they go negligible when compared with their fast delivery with excellent packing…:-}

infibeam.com is very good shopping site, I have got some products from this site, the packing and delivery is excellent,I regularly fallow the magic box deals for very good marginal prices. In my view this is No:1 and refarral for price. all deals I compare with this site first next letsbuy then ebay last google shopping serch option then buy.

I haven’t shopped a lot at infibeam – but all my orders have been executed smoothly, and within the timeframe given on the product page. They are definitely one of the rare online stores – flipkart is another – who haven’t given me a reason to contact their support. A big thumbs up to them for that.

I too feel that as far as pricing of books is concerned, indiaplaza is far better usually. But infibeam delivers faster, so there are times I order from infibeam.

I also appreciate their effort of launching pi and pi2. Few indian online stores have shown this kind of initiative. If only they can tie up with hindi and regional language publishers for content, it’ll be great.

When I first bought from Infibeam I thought the package came from amazon, because of the similarities in their packing and the logo etc..
I have done lot of shopping from them it has always been reliable. But I think their CC phone are not answered some time but emails to them actually works with 48 hrs of turnaround time.. I would not hesitate to call it Amazon of India. It appears to me that they are now more focused on being the service providers ( like amazon) setting up their private cloud etc..

P.S: The guy who started Infibeam apparently worked with Amazon ..

I have a nice story coming up and this is my first experience with infibeam (I haven’t received the product yet so I guess picture abhi bhi baki hai)

However, contrary to mouthshut reviews, I found the CC to be exceptionally helpful.

Infibeam is great, always had a pleasant experience while shopping with them.
Only grouse is that they do not post negative comments about their products as doing the same would have increased their value with me.
For now I only use Infibeam for MagicBox Deals.
