Infibeam - Magic box? better stay away from them! edit delete delete with repost warning

On 3rd Jan 2013, i came across magic box offer for Surat dream Silk Saree MRP Rs 1,499 for Rs 499!

It never got shipped / not received until today.

Today i have mailed them and asked for refund. Without saying sorry for this issue, infibeam said “we have notified the concern department for the cancellation”

I’m the only one or anybody else also facing such a good experience with infibeam?

On 17th Jan i requested refund as they failed to send the item in time.
As they have not refunded, yesterday on 22nd Jan 2013 i have posted complaint regarding same on their facebook page. within just 12 hours [ just now] i have received email confirmation on refund. [below is the snapshot]

Infibeam for a while used to be pretty good, but of late, their service has gone downhill. I have made over half a dozen purchases from them for over a year.

However, last year, during rakshabandhan, I had bought rakhis from them which came with a Rs 100 voucher. I had two such vouchers – in one of them, the voucher code showed up as expired when I tried to use it on their site, even though I used it well within the validity specified.

Two months and many mails later – most of which were unanswered, twice I got replies “please give us time to revert” with no revert happening, I gave up.

If they can’t be trusted for Rs 100, why would I trust them for any order which is typically much higher in value?

Online shopping depends a lot on trust. When I place an order, I trust the seller to ship me the item as per the description, and in the time frame specified. I also trust them to take care of things if the item comes to me in a damaged condition, due to transit damage or whatever. In case of prepaid orders, I trust them to deliver, and not make me run after my money. For any site, once this trust is broken, it is difficult to get any further orders from the customer.

lucky you …i wonder why they have not sent it to me even i have placed order early in the morning.
