MICROMAX A 100: First hand review...

thanks a lot…i have few questions pls
how is the battery backup ?
what about viewing angles? I bought funbook and its viewing angle is vey bad.
what about sound quality..speaker n earphones ?

@omsairam: Battery Backup…: Well cudnt do the full charge -discharge cycle as of yet…but whatever i have used..it seems to be a really nice battery…for instance: started with 74% Battery, Played games for 30 Minutes, some Music for 10 Minutes, Videos for 15 Minutes, Apps download through Wifi and surfing through wifi for 2 hours, Camera clicking and video recording for 5 Minutes, LED torch checkup for 2 Minutes, Contacts & Gmail Sync..this whole process was the first use of A100 by me…it took me 3 hours roughly for all these thing…the screen was ON for whole time during these processes at full brightness..at end of this ,y battery was showing 48%…Which in my opinion in great considering the screen size..
Viewing Angles: Viewing angles when compared to Micromax funbook(I happen to have that as well) are better. It is not that great…but definately much better than many LCD screens out there in the market…Not an issue that i see there..
Sound Quality: The Loudspeaker is Loud enough for a Mobile phone..no complaints there…Wasnt able to check the deepness in sound as i am missing my sennheiser headphone..but i heard it in my Philips headphones..the sound was above average..better then many MP3 players out in the market..

aarunn: No…as i said..the accesories are worthless…ekdum bakwaas…the headphones are normal one..but very cheap..isse acha to dete hi nahi..lolz..

@Omsairam: Wifi: its same as samsung , its weak i get a full signal in my laptop, same place my samsung nexus/S3 gets 4/5 & Micromax A100 also get 4/5 signals…
GPS: Havnt checked the route turn by turn, but tested the GPS, Located my position in less than 30 seconds…seem good…
Is it rooted: Not tested that Guyz..srry cannot help thre…

UPLOADING PICTURES of Camera: Sorry guyz..sent the camera to my GF…will ask to mail me few clicks and will upload it here…Giveme a day for that…But people..if u have 10000 rs…buy ths mobile..if u happen to dislike it i will buy it at the same prize..i am tht much sure abt ths piece…Dnt expect a Note..but u can compare it wth stupid galaxy ace plus..U will fell in love wth ths piece..worth every penny i sent on it….A BLOCKBUSTER MOBILE>…Hope i helped…Thanks

I read on Micromax Fb page that they are going to launch Dual core version of a90 & a100 by September end. Karbonn is also coming up with 3 new android device…karbonn A18 looks good.

Firstly, Voted up and karma for your effort (wonder why there ain’t any green faces )! Thanks a lot for writing this review…It’ll help dimers to make a decision in buying this product.

I’ve heard A90 and A100 are gonna get Jelly Bean soon and i hope for the same

M Sure U will love it…really nice phone…saw it today in local market again…now available at 9600Rs. but very few have the stock…A90 is still not available..went to see it but couldnt find it…

Guys, I have a question: Does the camera of the A100 have Autofocus? Secondly how good is the camera quality?

My only concern is that if it does not have autofocus, the images wont be too great.

One last question: Does it have an inbuilt compass? Need to know because I would prefer to have the compass as well since it aids the maps orientation during navigation..

i ve to buy a new phone at d earliest…m thinking of micromax a100…read many reviews,find it interesting… but still a glitch about company .. what do u suggest..will it last for 2yrs or so in long run…thanx in advance

i brought mobile a 100
now camera pics are reverted left to right
game are supoortint better then expeted
but hero of sparta exits on duel touch and some more games toooo

guys hows internet surfing on this mobile using opera mini with airtel 2G?
