I wanted to try online shopping for so long but was bit paranoid about it as there are few obvious risk involved in it. Firstly you just see the image of the product you wish to buy, you cannot feel it physically. So, you don’t really know the quality of the product. And secondly, there is a possibility of the product being damaged in transit. I was just browsing through the net when I saw an ad of PepperFry. They were offering some 1500rs discount upon registration. I checked out the website and found certain very good products at a tempting bargain. Before I take any step further, I googled pepperfry and found many negative complaints about it. Now this made me even more paranoid than before. Still, I decided to go ahead to buy a few things (the offers on the website were too good to resist). I ordered a Bag(100024145) and a Perfume(100000530) which I got at a very good bargain.

They had specified the delivery time for the products to be somewhere around 7-10 days, but it arrived within 5 days only. However, only the bag was delivered and the perfume that I had ordered was missing. So I called them on their helpline and inquired about the missing product. They said that it will be shipped separately and I shall receive it within the next few days. But it got delayed further by one day and this time I reached out on their Facebook page. Fortunately, I was informed that the perfume has been shipped and details reached my mailbox the next morning.
Although I got the perfume late by 2 days, but it was packed excellently and worth the discount I got. Products on Pepperfry are definitely priced much better when compared to other sites; they just need to better their delivery timelines. Their customer support and team managing Facebook, do reply quickly to complaints.
