Hi Friends,

I get calls from SC bank executive offering me a Manhattan platinum credit card. He says there is 51 days interest free period within which i need to pay the amount. No interest applied if paid within 51 days. Should i go for this card? I have read bad reviews in other site but i want to know whether the offer is genuine?

The card also comes with other cash back benefits as well.

Hi Mate,

I am using this card…what the executive said is correct…but the thing is first year it is free…but next year onwards you need to pay 1000/-Rs annual fee.
You will get 5% cash back on minimum purchase of 1000/-Rs, when you do retail purchased in the major departmental stores like Total, More, BigBazzar, Food Baazar,
Reliance Fresh…complete list you can get in their website. The cash back is only on retail spends…on maximum cap of 500/-Rs per month.

51 DAYS intrest free give by all major creadit card like exp. i have HDFC creadit card which bill generate in 11th of every month if i bought anything 1n 12th nov then i bill will generate 11 dec where HDFC give me 20 more days to pay my bill.

12th nov to 11 dec =30 days + 20 days from HDFC = 50 days

My friend has been using this card past 2 years he did not complain anything on that. He got many offers like 1% interest rate on Balance transfer (Don’t knowcurrently this offer exists or not). 51 days interest free period is true. About Cash back= Don’t know
