Sunglasses: which are best in the lower range?

Lost my sunglasses recently, and need to replace them with inexpensive ones. Hoping to get some help/reviews of inexpensive sunglasses.

Requirements/preferances:

Good looks & quality
Long lasting
100% UV protection
Lense should not be too dark (I seldom go in harsh sun, rather I’d be using it in lower light)
Usage would include bike rides, so protection from dust is important In that respect, glasses with those small nose pads (metal frame) may not fare well, as they don’t seal well around the nose.
Prefer glass to polycarbonate lenses
Prefer metal frame to plastic frames

As far as I can see online, the primary options (BHPC, Reebok, MTV) available are given below.

http://www.yebhi.com/62620/PD/Reebok-Casual-Men...

http://www.yebhi.com/59361/PD/MTV-Men-Women-Sun...

(does not mean I necessarily have to buy from Yebhi)

Would really appreciate if somebody can comment on these, esp. the Reeboks; as I can get them still cheaper. A comparative comment would be more vauluable. I know none of them meet all the requirements given above, so any pointers to any otther deals/brands more than appreciated. https://cdn1.desidime.com/assets/textile-editor/icon_smile.gif

And most important question – are these lower end sunglasses worth it? Or should I really increase my budget?

Warning – do not go for reebok glares. they are not worthy.

I think you should check http://www.sunglassesind…om

they have quite decent range of sunglasses.

^^^Thanks mate, will look there asap. But I’m confused about Reebok. Some people here, and also a friend of mine say they are quite good. Is it there the divergent opinions are due to fakes? Some sites like D&Y are also mentioning 6 months manufacturer warranty for the same. Same for their (Reebok’s) watches, which otherwise seem to have a very bad name. Or is it all a sham?

Reebok glares are nothing but your street sunglasses with reebok labels. probably some licence holder is manufacturing them from china and distributing it to online vendors and corporate gifts.
I made a mistake to purchase a watch and sunglasses combo but regret my decision till date. the watch had stopped the very 3rd day.
Later found the same reebok watch sold for Rs 100 at local station. the sunglasses too were not upto mark. It just doesnt fit.

^^^Thats really scary. I’ll avoid them. May I ask where you bought them from?

The site you gave has some brands unknown to me… wonder how they are…?
